Kageyama and Tsukishima have been dating for 9 months now. The salty duo were in love with each other. Tsukishima and Kageyama are yet to actually say that they love each other in person. Over text, they say it all the time but not in person.

Kageyama was starting to get a bit worried as he felt like their relationship was developing a little to slow. Tsukishima also felt the same way but they never said anything to each other. This all changed today.

POV-Tsukishima
I love Kags, I really do! But when it comes to saying it I just can't. I can tell Kageyama is getting nervous. He's probably second guessing our relationship at this point!

I have trust issues. Ever since that thing with my brother happened, I just don't want to let people in and let them crush me! I know King feels the same way. After that thing with his team in middle school he just can't trust anyone. We both actively try to not pull away or isolate ourselves from each other.

Yamaguchi says I have to man up. I understand what he means, I know Kags won't say it anytime soon unless I say it first. I'm just way to scared but I'm going to try for my King. That's why I arranged a date for today.

Tsukishima asked his parents to use the house for tonight. He set up the dining room table and made Kageyama's favourite foods. He was ready for dinner with Kageyama. Kageyama was going to come over at 5pm for dinner. This was Tsukishima's perfect plan.

He finished setting up and cooking. He added special lights to the roof and decorated the dining room table. It looked magnificent.

Soon enough Kageyama arrived at Tsukishima's house. Tsukishima took deep breathes before opening the door. Kageyama looked amazing!

Kageyama blushed at the sight of Tsukishima. He looked magical.

The boys stared at each other for a bit before sitting down. They ate the food Tsukishima made. Kageyama was amazed at how good his boyfriend was at cooking. Kageyama had 5 servings until he was stuffed and couldn't eat anymore.

"That was delicious Kei thank you! 💕" Kageyama exclaimed.

Tsukishima blushed a deep red as that was the first time Kageyama had used his first name.

"Anything for you Tobio 💙" Tsukishima responded.

Now Kageyama blushed as that was the first time Tsukishima used his first name.

"Hey Kei, you know that I'm not very good with words, and I get scared really easily and over think....." Kageyama whispered.

"Yea but I am still with you sweetie." Tsukishima said while reaching to the other side of the table to hold Kageyama's hand.

"But I want you to know that I like you a lot a lot like so so so much.... Kei, I love you 🥺" Kageyama said tears about to start rolling down his face.

"Tobio.... I love you too!" Tsukishima exclaimed tears also emerging from his eyes.

Tsukishima walked up to Kageyama and sat in his lap. (They are like facing each other so Tsuki is holding Kags back if that makes sense)
Tsukishima nuzzled his head into Kageyama's neck. Holding tight and not letting go.

Although it was only a hug it felt so powerful. All their doubts and insecurities flew away and their love for each other took over. They were deeply in love.
