The music pumps loudly out of the speaker. DJ Rev, a close friend of mine since high school stands at the front controlling the music whilst shouting into the crowd.

Truthfully it's not what I'd call a large crowd, There are only about 12 people, more than we normally allow in base, but as many as me and Mary, my wife, can count on our fingers and toes.

Mary has been planning this day since she was a little girl, and she'd finally reached it. I remember two nights ago when she'd arrived back home from 'work' battered and bruised but smiling. She had defeated her doppelgänger, every person in the domes dream.

And though I should be happy that my wife has killed her look-alike, I'm not. In one day she will be leaving.
In one day she will be sent to the out side, like everyone else who's clone is dead.
and I will be left alone again.
