"No, Ni. This happens all the time, I'm a loser, complete loser. I let go of opportunities. I can't find my damn phone, what can I do now?" I cried.

Present

Loud footsteps approached my room. I still sat on the floor, helpless. Louis barged into my room and glanced at all the things which were scattered around. He then bent his knees and looked at my moist eyes.

"I am such a reckless person!" I broke eye contact.

"No, Diana" he replied faintly and continued, "I just got a message from Sam."

"Ah! Sure! That loser" Niall cussed.

Louis tilted his phone and exposed the text from Sam:

Now that I have the phone...Game Over!

"He is right. It's over. We lost!" I broke my sentences into pieces.

"I won't let that happen. I won't!" Louis said confidently.

Niall and I just looked at him and I started to gain more confidence all of a sudden. I sprung up and wiped the moistness off my face.

"You're ready?" Louis shot a smile.

"Yes!" I assured him.

The six of us dispersed to complete our respective tasks.

"3-11-07" Louis read out loud as both of us stood facing a mansion, a huge mansion.

"Are you sure? Can we do this?" I said, concerned about our safety.

He took my hand and walked towards a wall and said, "Yes, damn sure!"

Somehow, we managed to go to the back door. Not much security was there, strange. Luckily, the door was left open, thank god! We walked through the narrow way, which led us into a tiny room, the stairs were on our left.

"WHAT THE HELL! NO WAY!"

"I'M COMING IN 5"

A loud voice echoed. "That's Sam," I told Louis.

"That bastard, screaming like a fool in his own house," Louis said in disgust.

"What do we do now? He's literally a few metres away" I asked.

"It doesn't matter. Sam said that he's leaving in 5 minutes. We'll just do what we have to do" Louis assured me.

We climbed the stairs, watching every single step and kept our heads low.

After searching for several minutes, we finally found the room which we imagined it to be the right one.

Slowly Louis opened the door and led me forward into the room. The room was not like any other room, it was dark and all the things were disordered.

Louis stepped closer to a table placed at the centre of the place. Many alcohol bottles were scattered and ashtrays and cigars occupied a part of the surface. The only thing which wasn't equal to anything lying on that table was my phone!

"Thank the Lord! Found it!" Louis whisper yelled.

"Let's get out as soon as possible" I urged him.

"No.No.No.No.No" a deep voice came from the door. There stood the person who is the most unwanted at this particular time, Sam.

I moved back but Louis didn't, his blue eyes were charged with confidence and courage. He quickly did an action, a very needed one. Then he pushed himself forward with attitude and said, "Hello Sam."

"Hey! We're seeing each other, finally, amazing," Sam stretched his hand intending to shake hands with Louis. But, Louis slapped it away and offered him to take a seat on a couch towards my right side. Sam just gave a smile as if trying to cover up the previous insult. The last thing I'd want to see in my entire life would be Louis and Sam facing each other. But, there's no other option now.

"What's up?" Sam asked.

"After doing every single shit, you ask 'what's up'?" Louis said.

The tension in that situation was the only thing that I could sense. "Louis we're leaving right now," I urged him once again.

Louis started to say, "Yes-"

But Sam interrupted with a mocking laugh. He said, "Y'all are way too funny. What do you expect, Diana? You expect me to act like a fool and allow random people to enter MY house? You expect me to just give away your phone and let y'all escape outta here? Ridiculous."

I didn't answer, way too many things were going in my head.

He continued, "Y'all are in a trap, a freaking trap. Several muscular men are waiting down there. Even if you escape from me, there's no chance y'all will leave my house."

"That's what we want. We wanna stay here and talk with you, Sam. Right, Diana?" Louis looked at me and waited for my answer.

"Y-yeah," I said unsurely.

Sam looked confused, his mouth was still open since the time the last word escaped from his mouth. Louis noticed that and said, "Hey! Earth to Sam."

Sam came back to his senses, hopefully. We were the ones who are supposed to be frightened, why him? Whatever.

"Yeah, so, where do we start? Do we start from the time you threatened Diana? Or killing that poor boy? Let's start from the beginning," Louis suggested.

Sam didn't utter a single word. I was standing quiet and watched Louis take the lead.

Louis looked at me and said, "Diana...Someone said that they'll 'crush' us soon, right?. It's like he's scared to speak to us, now."

Sam chuckled and said, "Enough, Louis, that's all lies. C'mon let's get this started and I'll end it for good."

"Why the hell were you hurting that kid?" Louis questioned him.

"What was your damn intention?" I raged.

"Woah! Interrogation huh? One question at a time, okay? Why was I hurting that boy? Well, it was like..my friends and I wanted to do something fun. We started to tease that orphan then we hit him and he eventually died..." Sam faked sadness. Sam was very much confident about his men downstairs. This posed more of fright in my body. What if our plan fails? What if this is our last day? Oh my god!! Even Sam knew this battle was going to end soon, So he spilt everything.

"FUN? ARE U SERIOUS!!?" I exploded.

"Um...killing was not our intention, we just kicked him. Once or twice at his soft spots like the temple and the ribs and yeah he died" Sam carried on the fakeness.

"Ruthless! Brutal! That kid had gone through the pain for doing nothing" Louis sprung to his feet and continued, "Sharing the same room with you brings down our standards. It's an insult!"

"Aghh! Don't overreact Louis, it's nothing. Just a mistake. Anyway, he's just one of those kids who roam around aimlessly" Sam stood up.

"Dammit, stop thinking that it's nothing. You have to pay for it" Louis said in determination.

"Now what? Put me behind bars? Just the two of you against several bulky men, who are waiting for my approval to kill you? Impossible" Sam took a few steps closer to Louis.

"Certainly, yes! But it's not just the two of us," Louis folded his hands.

A beam of red and blue lights swirled across the room and a loud high pitched sound hit my eardrums. My feet sensed the chaos downstairs through the floor which shared the same surface as the ceiling of the ground floor.

"What's happening?" Sam started to run around like an idiot.

"Wait, WHAT!?" he questioned staring down at the source of the lights through a window.

"Yeah, A trap," Louis answered as he chuckled.
