Cody’s P.O.V
I went back home and found kenz sitting on the couch looking unhappy, I kissed her cheeks and didn’t said anything else.
‘’what did I do this time?’’ I asked her bending down my knees in front of her, she looked at me and crossed her arms onto her chest.
‘’Your ex-girlfriend went here’’ she said.
‘’Why?’’ I asked her.
‘’I don’t know, she just came here and give that photos and…’’ she paused. I looked at her concernly and she got teary eyes.
‘’What happened babe?’’ I asked her holding on to her knees.
‘’She..she said that we shouldn’t be together because we are not the perfect two and she said she’s going to steal you away from me’’ she said hugging me, I rubbed her back and what? Alex? saying those words to kenzie? seriously? I don't believe it, she can't say those words.
‘’Don’t worry’’ I hushed her. She then looked at me
‘’can we move the marriage like two months or a month early?’’ she asked me, what? Moved it? No?yes?no?yes? oh for goodness sake.
‘’Uh if you wanted to’’ I said damn I don’t want to move the marriage no. but if that what she wants then go ahead. Let a girl be happy. I’m gonna surrender my happiness to someone else.
She hugged me again and smiled. Then she kissed me in the lips. I can’t feel any butterflies in my stomach but if its Alex probably there’s millions and millions of butterflies even though its just a hug. , I want Alex’ lips right now, I want her hug right now. Damn Alex! Go away please, no I mean, stop it Cody.
‘’I love you’’ she said when we pulled away.
‘’I love you too’’ I whispered. I didn’t mean to say those words. I don’t love you as much as I love Alex, oh goodness me. Alex get out of my head please, give me a break. I’m so tired of thinking about you, I’m so tired of missing you, I want to give you up, but I won’t, I can’t, I know I’m engaged to kenz but you’re the one that I want. Stop it Cody. Wake up.
‘’Are you alright babe?’’ She asked. I smiled and sat next to her and she laid her head on my chest, I stroked her hair. I remember doing this to Alex. I miss those memories. DANG IT! Her again. Stop crossing on my mind please.
Alex’s P.O.V
I got out of the shower and went to dress something, I’m going out for good, to take all thise words in my head. Somewhere in the club maybe, I’ll go clubbing first time, yes it is my first time going into clubs, I’m too busy at my work and I don’t have a work tomorrow and the next day. I’m going to drown myself in alcohol I know I haven’t drunk before, but I needed it. I put on my bath robe and invite Shona. I went outside my room.
‘’Shon do you wanna come?’’ I asked her. She looked at me.
‘’Where?’’ she asked.
‘’Clubbing’’ I said.
‘’I’m on baby’’ She said running upstairs and ii went back to my room and picked out my shimmering paillette cocktail dress and grabbed my white quilted crossbody and put on my pointed patent pumps and put some make up on and straightened my hair, I then sprayed some perfume and I’m ready to go. I knocked on Shona’s room and she’s wearing a knotted surplice skater dress and strappy patent wedge, we then went downstairs and she drove to the club.
