The weekend finally revealed itself from the curtains of weekdays, and I was ready for it!
"Kolenn, get up! You've slept all through the morning! We have afternoon things to do," I sat on his lap while Kolenn just played there, an arm across his face.
"Afternoon activities?" He questioned sleepily.
"Yes! Nevy gave me tickets to go see a movie. We were suppose to go together," I sighed sadly. "But she has busy plans so I thought..." I began to speak fast and quiet. " We-could-go."
My cheeks reddened. It's like a date almost. Except he wouldn't be interested in me the way I am him.
"Hm. What movie?" Kolenn sat up, interested in this idea.
"Um, it-it is um, this." I handed him a ticket, retreating my hand quickly as he took it.
His sleepy green eyes scanned the slip of paper. A sudden smirk spread on his pink lips. "A horror movie? The title of it is even ridiculous. The Woman in Black 2. Oh, I'm so scared," he rolled his eyes when he spoke in his sarcastic tone.
"Shush! It's pretty creepy looking! And Nevy and I do this to overcome our fear of scary movies." I closed my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Well, does it work?" Kolenn's eyes laughed at me.
I hanged my head in defeat, resting my arms to my sides. "No."
He chuckled, nudging my shoulder gently with his fist. "Don't worry, baby. I'll protect you," Kolenn teased.
"Oh whatever. Just lettuce leaf." I said, crawling off of him and the bed, getting clothes from my closet.
"Did you just say what I think you did?" He chuckled again.
"I don't be-leaf I stuttered." I smiled triumphantly. Nevy must be proud I use the non-cat-like puns so well.
"You're something, cat boy. Really something," he sighed in relief, changing in front of me.
"Wait until I get out, you weirdo!" I scolded as I dashed for the bathroom, changing quickly.
I slid on my freshly cleaned yellow shirt. It was long sleeved and had the word, "DORK" on it. And the matching black colored arrow pointing up. This was my favorite shirt and I tried to wear it often. Even the first day of going to the college was with this shirt. Quickly pulling up my grey boxers and dark purple jeans, I walked out to a handsome Kolenn.
His brown hair messy, not like my blue hair, but sexy like. You are a cinema. I could watch you forever. I sang in my head the lyrics from Cinema by Benny Benassi. Giggling to myself I gazed to his attire.
Dark grey hoodie, jeans, and dark green converse. He looked completely fascinating.
"Like the view?" Kolenn smiled, making me escape my thoughts.
"It's. Nice." I smiled courtly, making my way out of the bedroom. Tonight was going to be purr-fect!

We did some window shopping before heading to the movies right away, since we still had time to kill.
"Ever had a boyfriend?" Kolenn quizzed me.
I sighed, wishing I could forget. "Once."
"Well," Kolenn didn't seem to like the idea I was in a relationship before. "Tail me about it?"
"Seriously?" I scoffed at him with a raised brow.
"Trying to lighten the mood for the both us, so come one. Spill the milk," he smirked.
