"You're lying to me!" I yelled, backing into a wall. "How could I possibly be in a coma, when i'm standing right here, clearly conscious?"
"When I first appeared in this alternate universe, I once wondered the same thing." He began to explain. "They told me that when one goes into a comatose, we essentially unlock this part of our brain that allows us to see what we are seeing right now."
I looked at him and scoffed. "Look , I don't know why you're doing this or who put you up to this, but I really need to get back to my family, so if you let me go and tell me where I am, I won't report you to the police.""Come with me." He said as if everything that i had just said flew right over his head.
"No! You're not listening to me!" I yelled. "I can't remember anything right now! I need to talk to someone!" Then it hit me, I really couldn't remember anything. All that rang a bell was my name. Even the picture of my parents were foggy inside my head. Was he really telling the truth? Am I really in some sort of coma? "I think I'm going insane." I cried.
He reached out for my hand but I withdrew and broke down into tears.
