Nothing. I couldn't see a thing. It was pitch black and it remained that way for what seemed like an eternity.Then, in that moment, light. All i saw was light. I looked down at myself and saw that I was wearing a white gown and laid on a hospital bed.
My heart jumped when a hand gripped my arm.
"You're awake!" A man said. My eyes landed on a man, whom I have never seen in my life.
"Wh-who are you?" I managed to say. "Where am i?"
"'My name is Luca." He smiled. "Welcome to the other side, Reese Salvatore."
I pulled my arm away from his grip, held them close to my chest and sat up. "How do you know my name? Where am I?! " I asked frantically.
"Please." He hushed. "Don't be afraid... I can assure you, you have nothing to worry about."
"I will explain everything."
