Luke's POV
I saw her come in the store. Working in the art place was my first job because of a my reasons.
FLASHBACK :
"Luke honey your father and I are going to court again. See you after a few days" my parents yelled out to me as they drove away in a hurry. My parents were both lawyers and they were working for a very important case. I've grown up from a wealthy family so I never worked and did things myself. However, I was very responsible so I was fine. Everything seemed to be going so well until I got a call from the police after three days parents left to work.

"Hello, is this the Hemming's house?" The officer asked.

"Yes this is Luke Robert Hemmings speaking and how may I help you?" I asked calmly.

"Oh Luke I don't how to tell you this but your parents were accused of stealing some government files for their case. The bail price for both your parents will be $150,000.
Luke I'm really sorry but I was only supposed to give you this message so call me if you have the money to bail your parents with." after the call, I was panicking because where would I get the money?! I was raised from a rich family but I don't get allowance form my parents anymore. The only money I had was from my last birthday with a total of $15,000. So that's why I'm working a new shift at the art market.
BACK TO PRESENT LIFE
The beautiful girl walk in the store. As soon as I saw her, I just felt sorry for her. She was beautiful but she just looked so sad. I dont know why but I felt the urge to talk to her. She was browsing through the paint brushes but she looked lost so I knew this was my chance. As I walked to her, she was wearing a long black hoodie, a choker, black Docs, black leggings and seemed to be dozing off. " Hey? Are you ok? Hello?" I shook her and she stopped dozing off. She and I had an awkward stare moment but she smiled. She had the most perfect eyes too. They were grayish green with a hint of blue. She told me she was looking for razors for an art project. After all this, we walked up to the front for her to pay but when she reached for her wallet, I saw something. At first, it looked like little scars so I took a deeper look. I saw what it was. Cuts. All over her arm. That's when she looked at me in suprise.
