Colorless (J-Hope X Reader)

Y/N and Hoseok were on the phone the next day. Talking about the previous nights events.

"Are you sure it doesnt bother you I cant really see color?" Hoseok asked with hesitation.

"Hoseok, your personality makes up for it, you're adorable too." Y/N laughed.

Hoseok smiled and pushed the nosy housemates away from him. "Yah! Can I have some privacy?"

"But hyung!" Jungkook protested. 

"Dont 'but hyung' me brat." Hoseok laughed. He enjoyed messing with the younger housemates.

"Wheres Jin hyung?" Asked Yoongi.

" probably with his boyfriend." Answered Jimin.

"I thought Namjoon went back home for Christmas?"

The group just shrugged at the question.  The truth was Namjoon and Jin went Christmas shopping.

They were currently on a date at a cat cafe, per Jins request.  Y/N and Hoseok planned a date for the upcoming weekend.

"Arent you going home for the holidays hyung?" Asked Namjoon as he sipped his coffee.

"Let's just say...theres blood in the water when it comes to my family. It gets uncomfortable after a few minutes being there. I usually stay home with Hoseok." Answered Jin as he held a kitten.

"Hoseok doesnt go home?"

"No, his family lives too far away, he prefers to stay here. What about you?" Asked Jin.

"I havent decided yet. I go home sometimes but ever since I came out as bi, well, my sister is the only one nice to me." Namjoon stared at his coffee.

Jin frowned but soon let a smile return as a cat hopped into Namjoons lap.

"And Y/N?"

"She goes home, usually comes back after new years." Namjoon began to pet the cat.

Namjoon decided he'd spend Christmas with Jin. If the other joined then so be it.

Y/N had gone to Hoseoks house, hanging out with them all. Their relationship wasnt offical yet, they said they were to talk about it in private.

The entire house loved Y/Ns presence,  she played video games with the maknaes. Which turned into a battle since Jungkook lost a round.

As she played, she sat next to Hoseok, her head resting on his shoulder.  Hoseok smiled and watched, keeping a blanket on them.

Eventually,  Y/N got tired of playing video games. The maknaes took over, still playing. She laughed at their fails, Hoseok smiled and listened to her laugh.

He had never fallen in love until now. Hoseok put an arm around her slowly.

"Having fun with the brats?" He joked.

She rolled her eyes," better be nice to them, they put up a fight."

"Sure, sure."

They had all fallen asleep for a while, that is until Yoongi bursted through the door.

He placed the bags of takeout on the table, discarding his scarf onto a chair as well.

Hoseok chuckled," is it that cold hyung?"

"Yah! I'm trying not to get sick like last year. Besides,  I got Christmas shopping done, and Jin hyung should be home soon." Yoongi explained as he got everything organized.

Yoongi assumed Jin and Namjoon went on a cheesy ice skating date,  or coffee date.  He wasn't far off.

Jin wasnt usually the romantic type. He preferred to keep to himself at times. Something felt different.

"Anyway, my parents arent gonna be home this Christmas, guess it's just you, me, and Jin hyung this year Hobi." Said Yoongi.

"Well we will still have fun." Answered Hoseok.

"You dont go home for Christmas?" Asked Y/N. Genuinely curious.

"Too far away. You're going home right?"

Y/N nodded and began thinking. She wanted to get Hoseok something special.

Y/Ns hometown was only a few hours away. She got back recently  and was leaving a few days before Christmas.

As they all discussed the holiday plans, Seokjin and Namjoon came back, holding several bags.

"When did you get here?" Namjoon asked Y/N.

"Not long ago, good date?"

Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck and nodded. He helped carry the bags up to Seokjins room.

Later that night, it was just the regular house residents. They were all having dinner.

"So you guys kissed and havent made it official??" Asked Yoongi.

Jungkook had told them about the kiss he witnessed, they all told Hoseok they had to be official.

"We've talked about it...just thought it was a little too soon, ya know?"

"Hoseok, you obviously belong together, dont be afraid." Said Seokjin.

Hoseok just rolled his eyes as he ate.

"Yah! Dont roll your eyes at me, you're just mad I'm right." Smirked Jin.

Everyone started laughing and began to finish up dinner. Once they were done, Taehyung and Jimin were in charge of cleaning up.

"Y/N, arent you going home closer to Christmas?" Asked Namjoon. Y/N and Namjoon were at Y/Ns apartment. She was packing up a bag to go home.

"Yeah,  but...theres something I have to do at home before anything. Dont tell anyone alright? I'm serious its important."

Namjoon just nodded and continued watching the movie on the Tv.

"You've seen that movie more times then I've seen my family." Y/N commented.

Namjoon just laughed,  "I know but, it's a movie I've watched every year. Its tradition!" He defended.

They both watched the movie, it was true. It became tradition to watch How the grinch stole Christmas every year.

"So you're leaving and coming back right?" Asked Namjoon.

"Yep, I'll be back in a day or so. I have a special present to take care of."

Namjoon raised an eyebrow, "special huh?"

Y/N shoved Namjoon, "hush you."

"Y/N...I think we shou- no that's stupid. Hey, Y/N! I th- no stupid too." Hoseok spoke to himself.

"You alright hyung?" Asked Taehyung as he passed by.

"I dont know how to ask Y/N out." Hoseok pouted.

"Its not that hard hyung, just say you wanna date. It's how I asked JK" advised Tae.

"But I want it to be special...plus, who would date a freak like me? I cant see colors at all, at least you can say cheesy stuff like 'you have pretty eyes ' " Hoseok rambled.

"Hobi hyung, it's more about personality all together, you're not a freak, it's clear she likes you. "

"Thanks Tae...goodnight." said Hoseok as he headed to bed. Tae smiled and went to bed.
