Chapter 5.

Alexa's POV:

I think I just made the biggest mistake of my life. I knew that if I had said no it would have embarrassed harry, but the reason I said yes to him was to make up with Josh and I guess make a new friend....harry.

What I'm feeling right now is full on nervousness, not just because of harry but on what everyone else was going to think or say when they hear harry asked me out. I still can't believe it, how am I going to tell Ashley? Will she make fun of me? Or be the supportive bestfriend she usually is. No matter how much Ashley meant to me, I was a little jealous of her because she was the one that got the boys, well I was the one who never even bine asked out before, til now.

Waiting in line honestly sucks, having to wait 20 minutes or longer in line just to get food. People just randomly cutting, meaning wasting my lunch time and being unpatient. I decided I had enough waiting time so I ended up cutting a few kids when they weren't looking, thankfully they didn't say anything to me or kicked me all the way in the back of the line. Well being almost there, Ashley approaches me with a side hug and smirks at me for no reason, but I have a feeling it was about tonight.

"So I heard about Mr Sexy Styles asked you out, is it true?,Does he have it bad for you?"She said smirking.

"Shush Ash, he just said he wanted to get to know me more and he also said he will make Josh apologize to me" I say having a small smile.

"You don't think this is some type of joke? I think it's just a little strange for the most hottest guy in school to just randomly ask you out and yet you two didn't even know eachother til today." Having a suspicious look on her face. I know her saying that was a little rude but ever since Josh, she has always been here for me no matter what. I couldn't me mad at her even if she did have a 70% crush on Josh... which is true by the way but I would never hate her.

"Look Ash, I'm not feeling good right now so can we please not talk about this right now. The whole day I've been hearing people talking about me and I just feel uncomfortable talking about this sitation, I know your trying to protect me but I think I'm old enough to decide what I want to do" Sounding a little irritated right now.

"Alright, sorry Lex, you know I love ya right?

"Yes I do, I was also wondering if you can help me pick something out for tonight, since I suck at trying to impress people.

"Hell yeah I will, I'm going to make you look so sexy, even all the football players will be gawking at you, and to be a little more spicy I'm going to get you insanely drunk you will end up hooking up with harry and become more noticable.

"Really Babe, I am not a slut and I'm not used to drinking nor looking like I'm naked just to get guys attention, that is sexist, your saying that I should change my entire wardrobe and wear more revealing clothes just to be noticable? I ask, being very confused.

"I mean yeah, we can go shopping soon and who knows maybe harry will end up loving you."

"It's wrong though, I can't change my personality or myself for just guys"

"We will talk about this later, get your food now."

"Finally, I was in this line for 30 minutes"

"Harry Styles, 3 o' clock"

"What?" Me being clueless once again.

Ashley rolling her eyes, saying "harry is coming to you"

"Your lieing" I say with a whisper.

"Okay, whatever you say" her munching on her food while looking right behind me.

Staring at her, I feel someone sitting right beside me.

"Guess who", Harry's breath fanning my neck, making me yet once again nervous today and him being awfully too close to me but I kind of enjoy it.

"Um Hi Harry, what are you doing here?

"Just came to check and see how you doing and making sure you won't back out on tonight, it's literally going to be sick! And the best part of tonight is that your going to be there." Him winking at me when saying that.

I look at Ashley again, and see her just enjoying the show well I'm here being speechless but processing what he's saying to me.

I finally speak up, " yeah I don't want to miss it, but um have you talked to Josh, you know, I don't want to make it be awkward between us.

"Love can you just please stop talking about him, it makes me feel like you're just using me to get closer to josh. Do you like him or something?"

"I swear I don't, sorry um what were you saying before " biting my lip here and there.

"I'm excited for tonight, were going to get shit drunk and have the best times of our lifes," he continutes to say but notices how hard im thinking about this sudden ask out. "you alright? You seem uncomfortable and lost"

"Oh me too, and I'm alright, just a little shocked by today, you know with you just recently talking to me and randomly asking me out"

I notice him gulp and move his head to look at his group of friends having the biggest smirks on their faces.

I raise a brow at his sudden gesture. And continue to stay silent until he speaks up again. Mintues later, Ashley suddenly decides to speak up.

"Harry you alright there? You sure look like you just been caught doing something" with a giggle at the end of her sentence.

"Sorry what? Oh um yeah I'm alright megan" Him turning around again to look at me.

"My names Ashley you idiot" her giving him a angry face.

"Okay, whatever. Anyway I have to go, but I will pick you up later Lex and wear something sexy if you want" winking at me and disappearing out of the cafeteria.

"What the fuck was that about? Ashley looking confused.

"I don't know, but I will text you when I get home so we can get ready together for tonight" hugging her and walking away quickly and trying not to look around and notice everyone going back to their conversations.

Blowing out a sign, I make my way to the rest of my classes and not paying attention once again.

Finally school was over, now I can just breath out and try to forget about harry for a while.

My question was.. Why was harry acting strange all of a sudden?

I suddenly started to feel suspicious and anxious about this mistake I just made today.

     

Next chapter is going to reveal more about alexa's and Josh's friendship before harry came along and get the party started! Will update soon. Harry's birthday is soon btw!!! Omg! 21 already.
