Unforgotten: An Awakening in Time

Chapter 7: Unexpected

"Angular Prison!". A mysterious voice shouted. The giant sword falls back into the clouds and the sun returns to its normal beauty. As soon as Erin descends slowly from the sky, he notices Bruno that is awaiting him and another uninvited guest.

Vection was waiting with Bruno and says that he saved him. He also explains that this was really the plan of his father to keep him safe. Still, until he can prove his worth, he can't stay in the village for long periods of time. Afterwards, they all head towards town square where they meet Aurora and Dracculus. "Erin, what happened, this light came out of nowhere when I went to the town next door and it came from Greenshorphe.". Aurora said. "Is it safe to be here?". Erin starts to assure Aurora. "Aurora, it's okay, it's just... uh-.". Bruno interrupts. "Let's just say it was an unexpected light show.".

As soon as they leave and part their ways once again, Erin and Dracculus head towards Erin's home. However, Erin's sword starts to glow a bright white once again. He picks it up from his scabbard and the sword starts to fly. Dracculus starts to get timid, wondering if this was a trap set up by the three friends. On the other hand, Erin is also terrified, wondering what will happen.

He starts to gain more control of the sword and fly it into the afternoon sky. "W- What are you doing, are you trying to kill me.". Dracculus asks. "Of course not... why would you ask that?". Erin responds and withdraws his sword. All of a sudden, Dracculus starts to transform, his evil side has come out and takes over his whole body. He became Full-Satarian, a mode in which Dracculus has no control of his body, and is devilish.

"Oh Dracculus, this is the perfect moment to strike against their plans, stop being such a coward.". Dreccalas states. Erin starts to panic, he does not know what to do out in the wild alone. Dreccalas starts to attack Erin in the caverns next to Greenshorphe. They both each dodge back and forth, taking strikes at the opponent, Erin with his sword in hand and Dreccalas with his menacing claws. "Aha- you have no chance.". Dreccalas shouts. "Vicious Grip". Erin dodges the attack and tries to strike with his sword. 

Erin's attacks were ineffective, and he tried to contact anyone in the town for help. However, Dreccalas seems to be a bigger problem.

Erin starts to try and use his new powers to control and attack him at a distance. They continue to dodge back and forth and to strike each other continuously. After a few more minutes, Erin realizes something, his sword is glowing vigorously, flashing in different patterns. Although, Aurora did say that swords forged with Forresteal tend to glow white, in a normal way instead of flashing.

Before he could think for one more second, a mysterious woman comes up behind him. He can't tell if he could trust her, nor' help him with the battle. But suddenly, the stranger says. "Honey, why don't I take part in this battle.". She overlooked Erin as he fell to the floor and took one long strike at Dreccalas. "Oh, sorry sweety, I probably should have mentioned this earlier." She said. "I'm Graire, one of the four Jenesiles of Erainda.".
