"I hope Redhook agrees to this?" I rub my hands together nervously. I want to remain hidden at the hideout but I need to be helping the rest of the Gang.

"There is only one way to find out." Eli knocks on the door three times. "Mister Redhook. We need some help."

An old man with an eye patch and a Redhook as a hand opens the door. "Eli, I thought you were dead." Eli looks at him with a puzzled look.

"I see you are very much alive. What do you need my help with?" He says with a cranky attitude.

"We need a blaster for our newest member." Eli motions for me to step forward. "Why you need my help with that? Go buy you one." He goes to shut the door but I catch it.

"Mister Redhook. You might not know who I am but Blakk has men looking for me." Me, Twist, Trixie, and Eli hear men talking so we pull our hoods closer to our faces. Kord and Pronto stayed at the hideout due to the fact that it is hard to hide four humans. Adding a massive cave troll and talkative Molenoid doesn't help much.

"Agh fine. Come in you pesky children." He grumbles in defeat. We all hurry our way into his small house. Eli and Trixie pull their hoods down while Twist and I keep ours up.

"Who are the other two?" Redhook points his hook at us. "Roxy." I state. "Roxy who?" He attempts to get a good look at my face.

I gulp. "Roxanne Blakk. Sir." His face contorts with rage. "Get the hell out of my house you fucking monster!" He points his hook deadly close to my face.

"I'm nothing like Doctor Blakk. I ran away in hopes to escape from him. He as a new weapon. New ghouls about one-hundred of them. Forged from my DNA. These new ghouls are about three times more lethal then the average ghoul. Eli almost died because of an Amperling was so powerful I had to heal him."

Redhooks eyes widen with fear, hate, and lastly confusion. "What do you mean heal him?" He backs away from me as do I.

Eli puts a hand on my shoulder. "It's ok. You can trust Redhook."

I close my eyes thinking of the love everyone showed me and a let that positivity flow from my finger tips.

I open my eyes seeing a thin strand of blue light dancing around the room. "I don't know what this is but I know I can stop Blakk." I try to let him understand but he just slams his hand on the table.

"Get out of here you demon!" His words cut through me like a knife. Is that what people think of me? I feel my hope shatter into millions of pieces.

"Fine then." I say coldly. "I'll fight him without a blaster. Thank you for your time." I say bitterly. "Guys let's go." My voice shakes at little.

"Show me your face." Redhook demands. "You said you don't want to help us. So why should I?" I keep my back to him.

"You just remind me of someone... a young woman I met years ago before Ghouls were created." That explains why he was trying to see my face. I thought he was just a creepy old man which I still think he is but.

I lower my hood down. He first sees the nasty bruise still on my cheek. "Is this what you wanted to see. The face of monster." My voice breaks at the end.

"I thought I would never see your face. You look so much like your mom." He gives a half smile.

I pull my hood back over my face. "I want go back home." I say quietly. "Alright then let's go." Twist intertwines his hand in mine.

I hear Redhook grumble to himself before speaking up. "Roxy I can give you a blaster. A good one in fact."

He pulls the top of his kitchen table out revealing a hidden compartment. I see a black box that has multiple strange symbols on the top that are white colored.
