A/N- Hello, two things. I had an idea for this story and soon it grew legs and walked away from me, so I do hope yall enjoy it. Another thing, is I tried to be as accurate as I could to the Australian military. But in light of not wanting to offend anyone, I didnt dive to deeply into it like rankings and the likes. -PA

Bea sits with her back to the wall, the sun is beating down and shes wondering what the hell shes doing for the hundredth time already, and it's not even noon yet.

"Oi dickhead, quit daydreamin and get over here!"

"Piss off!" Bea says as she pushes off the dirt covered wall and moves towards Franky.

They've been friends for a long time, hell they're practically family. Both literally and figuratively. They served in the Australian army for ten years, but both now discharged, one medically the other honorably. Their last tour together really did a number on the pair.

"What's up with you red?" Franky says as she fixes her hat.

"Wondering what the hell I'm doing. I'm off today Frank's and I'm out here bustin my arse off when I can be laying on my couch."

"Come on red, admit it. You miss being with my ugly mug on a daily!"

"I've spent nineteen years with it, ain't that enough." Bea says with a smirk as she wipes the sweat from her brow and then looks to what they're doing.

"Jeez red, feeling the love here. Come on Boomer needed our help. It's the least we can do." Franky says as she picks up another crate and makes her way back to the bar.

Bea sighs as she to picks up another crate and walks it to where Franky had disappeared too. They dont have much more to go and all she wants to do is go home and pass out on her couch. Maybe watch some telly, and just be lazy.

"Oi red! Gidget brought lunch, come on and rest a bit." Franky says as she watches her friend pick up another crate on auto pilot, clearly still stuck in her head.

Bea nods her head as she enters the back door, dropping the crate off in the storage room and makes her way to the main room. There she sees Franky and Boomer bickering by the bar, while Bridget, Frankys fiance is setting up a table of food.

"Hey bridget, thanks for this."

"Hey Bea. It's not a problem. It's the least I could do since I had to work today."

"Hmm how is it working at the prison?" Bea asks as she takes a bite of her burger as she slumps down in her chair.

"Its a prison full of women. Their cunning I give them that. They're some there that shouldn't probably be there, and are only there for petty charges."

"Well the systems always been fucked." Bea says as she looks at Bridget.

"I'm starting to see that. Anyways how are you?"

"I'm good, the shops been doing really well. So well I was able to hire new help."

"That's great Bea!"

After Bea left the army, she had saved enough for a small motorcycle repair shop. And as time went on and word got around that her shop was good, her clientele got bigger resulting in her to get a bigger shop and hire on help.

"What's great?" Franky ask as she and Boomer both take a seat at the table.

"Bea was telling me about her hiring more hands to help at the shop."
