Allie and Bea just entered into Beas house, it was a little after 11, and the two were tired, but in good spirits from the fun filled night thay had.
"Did you have a good evening?" Bea asks as she moved off towards the kitchen for something to drink that didnt have alchohol in it.
"I did! I had a wonderful night!" Allie says with a tired, but bright smile as she follows Bea to the kitchen.
"I'm glad! I was a bit worried that we'd scare you off being so loud and rowdy."
"No no, I enjoyed that. Especially when you beat Fletch and Franky at darts and they both had to chug a beer after two shots of tequila." Allie says laughing.
"That's what did it huh, not Boomer doing body shots off of Fletch or some rando?" Bea says with a smirk as she starts making a sandwich, motioning to everything to Allie in a silent question of 'do you want one?', and getting a head nod in agreement.
"I mean that was hilarious to watch, but what really did it for me was the acceptance I felt from everyone, especially Fletch when I told him I'm fresh out."
"Like he had room to judge. It's not the same, but hes spent a few nights in the tanks. Drunk and disorderly, and disturbing the peace." Bea says as she finishes the sandwich and cuts it in half and hands it to Allie.
"Thank you, and not one to judge, but I can see it. Why do I feel like him and Franky were constantly butting heads for being bratty."
"Oh man cause they were!" Bea says with a laugh. "It was like babysitting two toddlers fighting over the same toy."
"Who'd win?"
"Neither, either Simmo or I would step in and break the two apart." Bea says, Allie noticing the far away look in her eyes. She gently reaches across the table and lays her hand on the older womans, seeing her flinch at the contact then relax once she sees it was Allie touching her.
That made Allie curious, it wasnt the first time shes seen the older woman jump or be apprehensive with someone touching her. She saw tonight how everyone made sure they were in her eye sight before they touched Bea. The only difference was when she touched Bea she'd tense, then relax instantly after. She wanted to ask why, but filed this particular topic away from another time. There was something else she wanted to know first, and that was who was Simmo.
"Can I ask you something?" Allie asked nervously.
"Anything."
"You dont have to answer or if I'm being to nosey, just tell me to piss off and I will. But can I ask who Simmo is?"
Allie watches as Bea stops eating and looks up at her. She can see the conflicting emotions in her favorite pair of soulful brown eyes, and begin to back pedal.
"I'm sorry forget I asked. You dont have to answer that." Allie rushes out, bowing her head trying to cover the blush that's covering her cheeks.
The sound of a chair being scraped across the tile floor, sounds loudly in her hears and she closes her eyes, oh allie you idiot, you really did it now. She thinks to her self as she pushes the rest of her sandwich away, not having the stomach to finish it. To afraid shes already messed up with the beautiful woman.
After a few moments of quiet, Bea enters her kitchen again and sees the blonde is a nervous wreck. She gently reaches out to the woman to calm her down and to lay what she went searching for infront of her.
"Breathe beautiful girl, everything is okay. Promise." Bea say as she resumes her seat. "Simone 'simmo' Slater, she was a really good friend to all of us." Bea says as she points the woman out. Franky, Bea, Fletch, Simmo and Boomer all stood together. Bea and Fletch had guns to their chest, while Franky stood with what looked to be a towel wrapped around her neck. Simmo and Boomer both had there hats on and over their eyes, not being able to fully see them.
