I refused to look at the note I received from home. The sight of the jet black envelope blending in perfectly with my green sheets made me feel sick."This is all just a bad dream," I thought.
The air around me felt as if I was breathing in helium, and the temperature seemed to get colder.
"It is a great honor for you to be chosen as a death eater."
Those words mocked me. Kicked me in the heart.
I scrunched my face up, scratching my scalp in anxiousness, eventually placing my head in both of my palms.
"This discussion will continue the next time you arrive home. Love, your father."
Slamming my body into the bed, my eyes remained closed. Filling my mind to the soft rain patterns that hit the window.

My hand flew to the noise waking me, halting the noise that filled the room. I felt the cold of someone's hand rush through my body. Their hands were rough and larger compared to mine.
Opening my eyes, I stared down at the green ones that had a sparkle in them.
"Afraid of the dark are you, Arsinia?" A smirk played on the blond's lips.
I followed the trail to where our hands were.
I left the lamp on.
Scoffing, I rolled my eyes, pushing his hand away from the lamp he kept switching on and off.
"Do you have no life, Draco? You have to sneak into the girls' dorms and bother me this early in the morning?" I asked as I sat up in bed.
I watched Draco grimace as he sat on my bed. His hands behind him as he looked at me with the same expression.
"Real witty, Arsinia. You mean have a life like yours? No thanks, I'll pass." Although I knew Draco had said it as a joke I felt a sting in my chest.
My face hardened. Scoffing once more I punched him in the arm. His expression going sour to hurt as he rubbed his arm.
"That's for being a jerk." I punched him one more time.
"Ow! And that?" Draco yelled
"That's for being annoying with the lamp," Draco replied to me with a hiss from the punches.
I looked away from my friend, instead of focusing on getting ready before class started.
"Who's this from?" I turned around quickly, watching Draco pick up the envelope and examining the brown wax that was encrypted with a flower and snake that once held the envelope sealed.
Panic crept on my skin, whispering to every inch of my body to get the envelope back before he opened it.
"Your father wrote to you again?" Draco asked, the envelope still in his hands as he looked up at me. I could see the curiosity laying in his eyes. Although Draco already knew who it was from, I knew the question he asked was him asking for permission to open it.
