Part Nineten

A soft breeze was swaying in the air and the whole lane was in pin drop silence. A cute couple was sitting on a park bench with their luggage near them; both were silent and thinking of the consequences which they are going to face in future. The couple was none other than our manan, manik's thoughts broke and he saw on his right side. He was getting a strange and a guilt feeling as because of him, his love and baby is also suffering.

But what did she do to deserve this pain? He was again lost in thoughts and fear that how will he manage his life now? Everything just happened in a blink of eye. His expulsion from his house and what not? May be he was ready for all this? Or maybe something better in his future is waiting for him?

He thought to break the silence and ask nandu about her opinion and what she is going through as she is also out with him because of their fate as he is already guilty for making her homeless because of him.

Manik: nandu!

Nandu turned to see him

Manik: if you want to say something you can

Nandu: as in?

Manik: as in for the situation we are facing today, I mean we both are expelled out of our house just because of my carelessness. And you really don't want to say anything?

Nandu: Manik, I can understand what you are going through and I want to confess something today, I am sorry if it sounds stupid to you but I have to say it as you want to know my opinion. Manik, I know that you are in a helpless situation and we are expelled from our house, and you are feeling guilty as I am also suffering along with you, but as per me, I accepted you as my husband after the bundle of joy enter our life. Yes, this is not your carelessness. We both are responsible for this situation and we both have to face this.

Manik was looking into her eyes which were shimmering under the moon light, he felt as if an angel has removed his pain with her magic wand and his eyes were brimmed now. He started feeling light.

He simply took her palm into his and whispered a "thank you" as he was feeling better after listening to her soothing words.He now was finally determined to make out a way as he understood that she trusts him more than himself.

Manik: "Will you marry me" nandu.

Nandu: ofcourse, i will.

Manik: Now.(with hope)

Nandu smiles fully with tears and nod her head.He smiles and grab her hand. They stand infront of temple and look at eachother. They step infront of god and pray for their wellbeing.

Manik picks red thread which place infront of god. He turns towards nandini tied in her neck as a nuptial chain and bent down to pick a pinch of sindoor. He put on her forehead and she close her eye to feel that moment with a slight smile. He mark her as his.

(Imagine them in their casual attire and mandir)

They both left mandir.He pulled out his phone and tried a few contacts for the arrangement of at least a flat for time being but all in vain.

Soon a Mercedes swept from front of them and came back, that was none other than Manik's friend!

Cabir opened the window pane and saw both of them on the mandir step; they both got down the car and went near them.

Manik: Cabir!

Cabir: Manik, why are you both here at this time of the night?

(Sorry for not mention about cabir in a character sketch. But he is a bff of manik. Cabir know about manan love)

Manik: actually___ we both were___ (stammering)

Cabir sensed something was definitely very wrong looking at their luggage, without uttering a word he went towards their luggage and started pulling off their trolleys. Manan were amazed, manik stopped cabir.

Manik: Cabir, what are you doing?

Cabir: manik, I don't know what happened. I am damn sure something serious has happened or else you both wouldn't have been here. So come, stay in my home tonight.

Manik: but cabir, it's okay. I am trying to find out a way and we will be soon shifting.

Cabir: Manik, I am not asking you but telling you. You will definitely shift to a safe place and I will help you in doing that tomorrow. And it's not safe for both of you to be in the middle of the road in the night, so just come and no arguments.

Manan were left with no option and had to leave the place.
