Coffee. A drink known for its delicious taste and exquisite smell. Who knew that those small beans could make such a wonderful drink? Saying it's addicting would be understandable.

Almost every human being loves coffee and many can't even imagine living without it. Something like a lover. Someone you can't get your mind off for even a second and the thought of being next to them coming out ecstatic. The texture of it being a plus in this romantic story. When lips touch the end of the cup, they bring the same feeling when touching the body of your favorite person. Feeling them and lips exploring each part of their secretive skin.

Not getting enough of it, right?

That's what I, as a coffee addict, feel. I only love two things in this world, coffee and her. Morrigan is her name. My dependency. Her skin painted in a dark brown hue, eyes light blue and lips full. In my eyes, she couldn't have been looking better. Whoever doesn't appreciate her beauty must be blind and I swear I will fight anyone who tries to disrespect her. I will also fight whoever tries to flirt with her. I don't tolerate others looking at what is mine.

Well, not actually mine but, you better back off before anything bad happens. We aren't together...yet, though. I court her the last two years but she is hard.

We first met when she started working on my café. I admired her from the first time she came to my sight. Who wouldn't? She reminds me of an angel. People say that we aren't good for each other. The truth is we don't match at all. Let's start from the beginning - the appearance.

As I said before she is black and her eyes are light blue. On the other hand, I'm the whitest shade of white - pale. My eyes are black and so do my hair. Her hair is blue; a mesmerizing cast of blue. Her clothing reminding those old days when hippies were a trend. She likes wearing dresses - colorful ones with flowers and butterflies decorating them. Her nails painted in different colors; pink, green, red, purple...

I prefer the color black, though. It's simple and unique. Nothing to gain attention easily.

But you know what I love the most about her?

She is always make-up free. She is pretty without even trying and that's a matter of fact. She never uses products to change her appearance. I have no problem with people that wear make-up, it's just that I love her confidence. She is okay with how she looks and nothing can make her think otherwise. Being black and confident it's kind of hard in our society.

I got to know that her race was causing big problems in her everyday life and still does. I can't understand people who judge others because they were born different. The way we are coming into this world isn't a choice and I hate people who think they have more power just because of their skin color.

Anyway, let's not talk about this or I will curse badly.

Back to what I was talking about.

Personality. We have really different characters. She is joy while I'm coldness. She is happiness while I'm sadness. She is optimistic while I'm a pessimist. She likes to go out and socialize while I prefer staying at home with a cup of coffee and Netflix on. I guess opposites really do attract.

We are both on our late 30s but she doesn't seem to age. She is still too young in mind to get into the 40s world.

I think I'm whipped. These past two years have been the best of my life. She is my only source of happiness. I have her even higher than my coffee and believe me, coffee is like a religion to me.

If I could, I would have made a whole city of coffees with king the Irish alcoholic coffee. My favorite one. Seriously enchanting.

When I was 23, I went on a vocation to Ireland to get rid of the stress my freshly-opened café was putting on me. It happened by curiosity to order this coffee and I was left stunned. I felt like falling. Falling in love. As a café owner, I had tried many coffees but none could compare with this one. Combining alcohol with coffee was actually the smartest thing the human mind could do.
