Chapter 16!

~Niall's POV~

I finally did it. I finally asked Ary out. I couldn't be happier. She couldn't stop smiling. Something keeps telling me that she might just might have the same feelings for me. But something holds me back every time. Am I just second guessing myself? I can't wait until tonight. I sit down on the couch next to Ary and smile. I pull out my phone and start scrolling through twitter. These people call themselves directioners but some of the things they say don't sound like they are. They hurt. The things that they're telling Ary are just cruel. I wish I could comfort her as if she were mine, but she's not.

I shove my phone in my pocket and get up. Ary follows. "Dude I'm paying!" Ary says.I open the door for Ary. She walks out. "No I'm paying you payed last time!" I say like a little kid. "ha those boots cost twice as much as ice cream" she says. I laugh. "so that doesn't matter" I say. "Yes it does" she laughs. "Ary I'm going to pay" I tell her stubbornly. "Fine" she says. We walk down the road and go the the ice cream shop. "Hello how can I.... Oh my gosh! Your Niall Horan!" The girl at the counter says. "That's me." I say. "Uh can I help you?" she asks. Ary looks at me. I just shrug my shoulders and answer the girl. "I'll have cookie dough" I say. The girl smiles and writes it down. Ary steps forward. The girl gives her a death glare. "I'll uh have chocolate" Ary says uncomfortably. I put a hand on her back and look at the girl. She gives us our icecream and I pay. "Ignore her" I whisper as we go sit at a table outside. She takes a deep breath and sits down. "I just don't get this" She says and burys her face in her hands. "Hey just don't worry about it. It's not easy but you'll figure it out you have me and the lads to help so don't worry" I say trying to comfort her. "Whatever" She says and digs into her icecream. She's so cute.

-THAT NIGHT- ~Ary's POV~

I slip on my tan ruffle neck dress with a brown leather belt around the waist. I put on my tan suede heels. I don't wear heals often I only wear them when I go somewhere fancy, which isn't that often. I put my hair in a fancy type of messy bun. Light makeup and jewlery finishes it off. I put my phone in my clutch and open up the door. I slowly walk down the stairs hoping I don't fall. "Well hello there" Niall greets me. "Hi Niall. You look nice" I say. He laughs and takes my hand. I step off the last step and smile at him. "So where are we going?" I ask hoping he'll answer. He just smiles. "Come on" he says. He leads me outside to his car. Niall opens the door to the passengers seat and I get in. He closes the door and runs around to the other side. I smile. He's so sweet. Maybe just maybe he has the same feelings for me as I do for him. I promised myself before I came here that I wouldn't fall for any of the guys. So much for that. "Your going to love this place I know it." Niall says. I just smile. "Your scaring me Niall" I say. He laughs. Niall pulls up infront of a giant garden. It's set up with a bunch of lights and flowers. It looks absolutely gorgeous. "Niall it's gorgeous!" I say. He smiles. We get out of the car and walk into the garden. This place is amazing. "Ary there's something I wanted to tell you" Niall says. I nod encouraging him to go on. He takes my hands and looks into my eyes. His blue eyes are so gorgeous I think I'm going to melt."no matter what those people say about you you are gorgeous no one can ever take that from you." He says. I feel the tears sting the back of my eyes, threatening to come out. I quickly hug Niall so he won't see. The lightning hits me as he wraps his arms around me. "Thank you Niall" I whisper into his shoulder. He squeezes me and then let's go. "Come on let's go have dinner" he says. I smile and nod. Niall takes my hand and leads me to a table under a tree that's bound in lights. I smile, Niall really out did his self. Niall pulls out a chair for me and I sit down. "You really out did yourself Niall." I say and continue to look around. A waitress comes out and places a small salad in front of us. Niall and I dig in immediately. When we finish the waitress comes back out and takes our plates. "So Ary tell me more about yourself" Niall says. I smile. "There really isn't that much to tell you know that I love football and I do photography. Oh I do art too" I say. He smiles. "Ok what about your past" Niall says. I just look at him trying not to cry. "Uh sorry you don't have to answer that." Niall says nervously. I shake my head. "No you need to know Louis is the only one that knows" I say. "How does Louis know?' He asks. "Louis asked when we went to play football that one time"I say. "Oh" he says. Niall gets up and grabs my hand. He leads me to a bench by a small fountain. "I'm going to tell you exactly what I told Louis" I say. "About a year ago I had this uh one boyfriend. His name was Alec. During that period of time Liam had left for XFactor. I wouldn't talk to anyone I was just in my room for days on end. Eventually Alec came over to try and cheer me up. Well that's what I thought he was going to do. But see I hadn't told him that Liam had left. He thought I was sleeping with someone or a lot of someones. He called me a slut and all those mean things. I was never the same after that I know it sounds exaggerated and stuff but it really hurts. Later after Liam had come back and was signed and stuff and gaining money Alec came back. He decided he suddenly forgave me and wanted to get back together. I fell for it. But later on I found out all he wanted was Liam's money." I say. The tears are now pouring down my cheeks. I never had really told anyone the entire story. It felt good to finally get it all out. "I didn't really tell Liam the part about him wanting his money. That's Liam's money we never asked him for any of it" I say. He doesn't say anything. He just leans over and hugs me. The tears are flowing steadily down my cheeks. "Where is Alec now?" Niall asks. This is like a replay of when I told Louis. "Alec died in a car crash 2 months ago." I say. "Ohh I'm sorry. Do you miss him?" He asks. "Not really I mean I can't say I'm happy he's dead because that's really just rude, but I can't say I miss him"I say. He puts an arm around me sending lightning all over me. "Ary your beautiful don't let anyone tell you different ok. No one should ever try and take advantage of some one like that especially not someone like you" He says. I smile and rest my head on his shoulder. "Thank you Niall" I whisper. "There's one more thing I want to show you" He says. "Niall your killing me how could this get any better?" I ask and follow him through the garden. He leads me to a gazebo covered in ivy and lights. There is a small orchestra playing in the background. I cover my mouth and shock. "Niall this is amazing." I say softly. "Ary will you dance with me?" He asks. I nod and follow him onto the gazebo. I wrap my arms around his neck and he holds my waist. "Thanks Niall for everything" I say. He smiles and pulls me closer. I rest my head on his shoulder as we sway back and fourth to the music. "I'm so tired" I say. "You sleep a lot you know that" Niall laughs. "If you were me you would to" I laugh. He laughs and takes my hand. "Come on let's go home. we intertwine our fingers together and walk back to the car. This night was truly amazing. I would do it over again in a heartbeat.
