Darkness. All around, the consuming void fills the emptiness that this strange place exists in. With the steps I take ripples form. The floor feels like water tearing to not soak my socks or shoes, trying to stay out of my way. This place was not cold nor hot, it was okay. That is the only thing that can be said about this strange new place I find myself in. I was okay, I was not hungry, nor did I feel tired.

I kept moving, the ripples fading after a few seconds. Where I was going, I had no idea.

"Hello." I say as if there is something in here with me, or at least someone. The sound is swallowed by the void. No echo, nothing.

I wonder if dads okay. Thinking of him is all that I worry about. I keep moving. I see something on the horizon, or at least it looked like a horizon the darkness does not show if there is depth to this world. It is strange there is no light, but I can see my hands, feet, I can see my reflection in the black water that covers the ground. I see my blank face with my brown hair messy from a nap. My thine eyebrows and my large, crooked nose. My dad's noes.

I got to the object that I trek after. It was a bed, a hospital bed with a grown man in it. Covered by a white bed sheet. Around the man is what looks like the same creature, the creature I hunted in the halls. I started to run, and scream, trying to get its attention. To call it towards me. All I could think of was punching it in its face. All I could do was punch it in its face.

Flames consumed the creature's body it screamed and melted. Melted into the floor. It's hallowed screeches fleeing from its body. All that was left was ash. I got to bed with a shortness in breath. Carious, I wanted to see the body on the bed, its face covered by a sheet. I removed the sheet to see my dad. I blink and it is me. I am dead, on the bed cold and lifeless. Startled by myself, I stepped back. Taking it in.

"Am I dead. Is this what the after life is like." Tears fill my eye but I Pusan them out. From the cloudiness that filled my vision the bed is gone. I was gone and all that there was was a red fox to take its place. When I look at it, I am calmed, all most instantly. I tried and touched its red fur, but as I got closer the water that covered the floor started to catch fire. Fire takes the place of darkness.

I can feel my body being split a part, but I am still trying to reach out to this fox. I start to sink, I am sinking into the floor, it slowly gives way. I look up and the fox is on top of me. As if the fox is on top of an ice casing watching the fish swim. I am the fish it looks at. Flames around the fox, but I am trying to keep my breath in this thick water. I give way and the air leaves my body. The void of darkness consumes me. Just as it did to all that I saw in it. All but the fox.
