One month later.
After mopping the floor, Xiao Zhan washes his hands. When he goes back to the table which he cleared and leaves it vacant. He places the tray with two bowls of rice, lemon fish soup, sweet and sour pork, some vegetables, and cold milk tea.
Xiao Zhan is about to sip some milk tea when a group of men barges into the restaurant. Wearing a black leather chaleco vest, thick silver chain with heavy bling, black leather cuffs on the wrist, and a baseball bat on their hand.
Xiao Zhan assumed they are mobsters but he calmed himself and speak.
“I'm sorry sir but we are closed. We are not serving any food and the chef left home already.”
“We are not here to eat.” The man with a big body built to speak.
“Oh, so what can I help you then?”
“You!” The man declared.
“Me?” Xiao Zhan's body shivers.
“Come with us.”
“Eh?”
“Don't refuse or you will suffer the wrath of our boss.”
“Sure, but can I eat first. I am really hungry.”
The man is amused by how Xiao Zhan talks calmly despite being surrounded by these mobsters and the man that acted like a leader press something on his ear.
“Eat, we will give you 30 minutes..”
“Wow, thank you...” Xiao Zhan quickly pulls the chair and rubs his hands making it warm.
“Start now...”
“I am but I am sorry I can't offer you my late lunch..” Xiao Zhan pouts.
“No problem, enjoy.”
Xiao Zhan starts to eat silently but happily. The mobster did not leave and just watch how Xiao Zhan eats and munch the food. The sound of slurping the fish soup makes the group gulped their saliva. They were mouth agape how Xiao Zhan eats that food luxuriously. And he literally enjoys it leisurely as he tastes every piece of meat and fish. The crunchy vegetable can be heard with the pin dropping silence.
Two minutes before the given time, Xiao Zhan finished the last drop of the cold milk tea and after placing the tall glass on the table, Xiao Zhan burps.
“Excuse me...” Xiao Zhan said unaware of the boy's reaction.
They were all shocked and surprise. Probably, he is the happiest person they met for the first time. Eating simple dishes like it was the delicious food in the world.
