SOOYOUNG POV
I hate Kim TaeYeon so much because she always caught Jessica's attention away from me and even we're together, Jessica always thinking of TaeYeon's whereabouts. We went in the same grade school and we're so close enough to be friends with each other and I promise myself I will confess with my childhood crush in our first day of high school so I practiced my speech every single day during our summer vacation.
"Is it okay Master SooYoung?" I always used my personal female butler to practiced in my room and pretend to be Jessica under my order.
"Just don't stare at me for too long, I feel so embarrassed." I sighed when my weakness was to stare from another person using an eye to eye contact.
"But you're speech was so sweet." My butler complimented me and I blushed.
"You think so?" I laugh awkwardly.
"It's totally fine and I bet your crush will be down on her knees because of your confession." My butler was more excited than me yet my heart felt it's going to burst anytime soon. I must get rid of my crazy heartbeat or I will mess up my chance to confess at her.
"Are you ready, Master?" My butler asked and teases me at the same time.
"I. CAN. DO. IT!" Raising my fist higher it feels like I'm going to explode from nervousness but I will do it for Jessica Jung.
THE D-DAY OF CONFESSION
The first day of our highschool days makes me so nervous added by my confession later so I tried to wake up earlier as possible than my normal time of arrival in our previous academy. I fidgeted while waiting for Jessica's car arrival before I spotted a new face wandering around the school area while looking amusingly around.
"Ah, excuse me?" The strange student with a cold expression approach me when she spotted me in my direction but I don't like it to be ask by someone whom I never know.
"Is this the SM academy?" The stranger asked me so I just awkwardly nod and she just coldly stare at me before I saw Jessica walking in our direction.
"Thank you." The stranger said.
"Choi SooYoung." My crush called.
"Jessica Jung." I casually called back but I noticed how Jessica staring at the newcomer beside me.
"What's your name?" Jessica asked curiously.
"I'm Kim TaeYeon." The student coolly said while fixing her uniform ignoring Jessica's stares.
"I like you." Jessica nonchalantly said makes my eyes widen in surprise.
"Huh?" The student coldly stare at her not processing Jessica's word and I'm not liking her attitude towards us.
"Ah? I? I mean as a friend?" Jessica seems so nervous infront of the newcomer that she blushes hard avoiding TaeYeon's eyes.
"I don't need a friend." The student rejected my poor crush who seems so deflated and almost cried but Jessica run as fast as she can inside the academy so I decided to follow but didn't forget to hissed at TaeYeon.
"You will pay for what you have done with her idiot." I glare at her arrogance smirk while fixing her necktie.
"Is she your girlfriend?" She mocks and my blood starting to boil in anger that I'm balling my fist to punch the annoying smirk on her face.
"It's none of your business." I'm pissed off with her annoying face but to my surprise she bumps her shoulder into mine that makes me more anger.
"YAAAH!!!" I shouted at her but she continue to walks on her direction through the House of Ares dormitory.
"You freakin' jerk come back here!!!" I yelled again catching everyone's attention but I don't mind them since I'm here to protect Jessica at all cost.
"Stop being so stupid." She looked back at me with her cold bitch face looking down on me.
*This fucking jerk* I hissed.
"You want to get it from me huh?"
"Show me what you've got." She casually said and then we started to have a major fist fight in the first day of our highschool and I started to hate Kim TaeYeon's gut from now on.
END OF POV
The masquerade ball is just around the corner and the SM academy students were gathered inside the campus field for some reminders leads by the student council from different Houses and to SooYoung's surprise, the council President will be arrive today after a long time being outside the country for some reasons. Jessica who once met the President terrified from what she recalls from the past and she wasn't so happy with the sudden news of her comeback.
"Why does she needs to come back here again? Why she didn't pursue her rumor transfer issues?" Jessica frustratedly sighed while they're staying at the backstage.
"It's gonna be in trouble when she meet Tiffany Hwang." SooYoung sighed deeply when they were waiting for the President's arrival.
"You should be the President instead." SooYoung freaks out from what Jessica has said regarding their position because she saw the President standing right behind the council secretary.
"SooYoung must be working so hard to fill up my work and position, am I right Ms. Choi?" SooYoung felt goosebumps when she face to face with the reigning council President.
"President?" Jessica's eyes widen in terrified as she hastily stand up from her seat staring at the President's arrival.
"I appreciate your hardwork Ms. Vice President but I think I should take what belongs to me right now." The President smirk and smile at them before she walks through her rightful seat as the current leader of the Houses.
"I'm sorry Miss President!!!!" Jessica quickly apologize but the President frown for her actions before it changes into 180 degree expression.
"Take your apology with you and leave your position immediately Ms. Jessica Jung." The President harshly said makes Jessica cried and it broke SooYoung's heart.
"President?" SooYoung tried to argue with her fellow council member but she was taken aback when the President pointed a gun straight through her face.
"I don't think you know anything about me Choi SooYoung?"
"I'm sorry President." SooYoung bow her head in fear before she heard the trigger sound from the gun made by the President.
"I think you already forget about my pretty name now? I'm so disappointed on you SooYoung." The President fakes her cry that makes her more like an evil laugh from SooYoung's hearing.
"I'm sorry Mistress Kim Hyoyeon." The President just smirk in response.
"Good."
