Sofie's POV

Wow. This boy is going to change everything.

I smile at Clayton again before I turn back around to the group. Clayton keeps his arm around me the rest of the time as everyone kisses everyone. The bottle lands on me again but Clayton spins it again so I don't kiss anyone else and neither does he.

At 11:00 O'clock a manager told us to leave because the pool was closing so we all said goodnight and went our separate ways, except for me and Clayton.

"Do you wanna come in and dry off?" Clayton asks, "Our moms definitely aren't back yet," he laughs.

"Sure," I smile at him as we both head towards his room. When he unlocks the door and we walk in I realize I haven't been actually in here for years.

"Another beer?" Clayton asks as he throws me a towel.

"Yes please," I say and take the beer from him. This is my fourth of the night and I'm starting to get buzzed. I can tell Clayton is too, he has drunk more than I have.

"So, what happened to that guy you brought last year?" Clayton asks as we head out to the balcony to sit. I'm shocked when i realize what he asked.

He noticed I brought someone.

"High school ended. We wanted different things and both agreed that we should end it." I say without making eye contact. I take a big drink of my beer and look out into the ocean.

" That sucks." Clay adds shortly, but I catch the small trace of relief in his voice.

"Not really," I sigh. "If I'm being honest, I knew it wouldn't work out. It was just a high school relationship and that's all it was ever going to be. Ya know?" I glance over at Clayton. He looks sad and I'm worried I hit a nerve.

" I get that," He says glancing back at me. "I've never really had time with baseball for anything serious." He admits, then takes a long drink.

" So you just had hookups?" I smile, playfully at Clayton. I want to see if he's a giant player. I mean he is an athlete and at my school girls would be throwing themselves at him.

"I don't sleep around that much. Just at parties and I've had a few girlfriends over the years." Clayton defends. "But I'm not going to lie and say I haven't slept with a lot of girls."

"I would expect nothing less of the star baseball player," I roll my eyes at him.

"Hey! Cheerleaders don't have the best reputation either. I bet you get around too," He shoots back and he's totally right about some of the girls I cheered with, but not about me.

"Nope!" I smile, "I've only dated two guys. One was a jackass and we didn't do anything. The other was the guy I just ended things with and he's the only one I've ever done it with." It just then hits me that I've spilled my whole sex life to a guy I barley know. An incredibly hot guy that I barely know, but still he's going to think I'm crazy.

"So you've only ever fucked one guy? At least tell me it was good." Clayton asks with misbelief and shock on his face. I can feel my cheeks heat up as I think about the last time me and my ex had sex.

"It was good, but it wasn't the great, mind blowing sex you hear other people talk about." I admit back to Clayton, who laughs at my response.

"That's sad Sofie." Clayton cracks, "You need to get some." He's joking with me, but I can't help the sexual thoughts that go through my mind about Clayton. I blame it on the four beers.

"I know," I smile back at him. "I'm waiting for those college boys." Clayton laughs and I laugh with him because it's hard to think about me sleeping with a random college guy.

"What about a beach house boy?" Clayton smiles back at me. "I've been told I'm damn good in bed." I can feel my cheeks heat up and I'm in total shock at what Clayton just said.

Did he just offer to sleep with me?

"Clayton! We're baaaacccckkkkk!" Brandi calls from inside the room. When I turn around, both our moms are coming into the room laughing their butts off about something. I smile at Clayton, stand up and go inside.

"Oh Sofie! What are you doing here?!" Brandi says as she spots me. When she sees Clayton come in behind me it's like a light bulb goes off in her head. She thinks that there's something going on between me and Clayton and I can't really say that there's not after the conversation we just had.

"Just waiting on you two to get back," I smile at Brandi and walk over towards my mom so I can see how drunk she is. After a second I can tell- pretty damn drunk.

And when Brandi says, "Clayton! When did you get this tall?" I know they must have drunk a lot.

" Okay mom I think it's time for us to go to our room," I say and grab her arm to lead her out of the room.

"See you by the pool tomorrow!" Brandi says towards my mom as we head out the door.

"Hey Sofie wait up," Clayton calls. "I'll walk you to your room." Granted our room is 8 floors up and a long way, but I've been coming here for 18 years, I can get there by myself.

"No, we'll be fine. I'm a big girl Clayton," I smile back at him and then glance to see my mom already heading for the elevator.

"Okay." He smirks, "We can finish our conversation tomorrow." He winks at me. "I'll come find you on the beach," He smiles.

"You can come find me, but I make no promises to continue our conversation," I glare at him. I really don't want to expose anything else to Clayton, I've already made a fool of myself.

"Sofie!!" My mom shouts as she holds the elevator for me.

"I better go," I glance back at him. "Goodnight Clayton."

"Goodnight Sofie," he says with a smile. I have to make myself walk away from him. He's perfect and at this point I don't know what is going to happen in the next two weeks.

All I know is it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun.
