Light shined through the windows of the large school building, reflecting on to the wooden floorboards and walls it gave a quiet and peaceful feeling. Building was quiet without any soul wondering the halls, no happy chatter of students, talks of teachers that were on brake or monitoring the halls.
Only sound of chalk being moved against the board in the front of the class. White lines traveled up and down while forming short sentences on the green colored board. Person creating the lines was quiet, their breath being only signalization they were somewhat alive.
*CRACK*
Long piece was broken in half by the person, placing the two broken pieces on the stand below the board they took a step back to watch the shaky handwriting. Their hands were dry from the chalk, all of the moisture poured in to the item while leaving white stains on their skin.
*Tap*
Long black boots tapped against the leg of one of the desks as they sat down on it, swinging their legs from one side to another they observed the words placed on the board with sorrowful look on their face.
"This place is truly hell, no soul to talk with, no sound beside those that I make, no way of escape and no way of getting out. I never would think that afterlife is such mundane and boring thing, having no real person to talk with really can make you think about your self."
Placing their hands on the wooden desk the read the started to think about their time spend in this strange dimension.
Wiping their hands on the piece of cloth that rested on the window they released a chuckle, their two different colored eyes gazing in to the entrance to the classroom. Observing the closed door in hope of anybody walking in.
Knowing that nothing like this would happen they jumped on the ground before dusting off their black T-shirt from the dust that managed to set on it, without any words they slid the doors of the class open and started to wonder around the corridors, leaving the large amount of lines on the board.
There was no reason to clean it, in the end nobody was here. They were the only ones in this place, left to wait till they are called for another battle. Being taunted by the thought of freedom and ideas of returning to normal life.
*BZZZT*
". . . Huh. So today is the day?"
Mumbling under their breath they watched as sparks of dark energy crackled around one of the windows. Like lightning it moved in wild motions, covering the glass pane with it's crimson glow and hiding all of the light that tried to enter the corridors of school.
Soon darkness welcomed all the windows, devouring the sun and light pink sky. No sun, no moon or stars. Just pitch black darkness that stretched out for miles away form the window.
Taking a step forward they opened the window, no gust of wind, cold or hot breeze. Air remained the same like it was, heavy, ominous and ready to crush the person beneath their own weight.
". . . Do I want it?"
Staring in to the abyss they wondered about their choices, they could leave the darkness for itself. Let it be, there was no reason for light in the place, there was no reason to be bothered by another strange adventure that might arise from their decision.
Yet the thought of being trapped in the building was saddening, filling them with anger, grief and despair. memories of the past laid in this building, every little crack, little hold in the floor was filled with memories they would want to forget and remember at the same time.
