Tied Together

Her blood turned to ice, skin hardened in solid stone adding weight to her fragile body. Pain in her hand lowered with the appearance of the boy in front of her, her mind tried to make a sense of the situation while all the people inside the room were left speechless.

Beside the new summoned servant nobody knew what was truly happening, was it a miracle? Mistake of summoning system? Something had to go wrong, the wheel of fortune had to spin in the wrong direction for something like this to happen.

Such thing should be impossible, it had no real way to happen even if the stars aligned in the right direction. No matter what power this shouldn't happen, summoning a servant isn't possible for the girl.

"I-I! W-What's."

Olga Marie Animusphere had no idea how to even speak in the situation, her mind was a mess of thoughts and words that wouldn't form themselves in to a usable sentence. Twisting her tongue she couldn't speak up to the boy that was patiently waiting for her answer.

"I'm still waiting, if you don't answer I will have to use more... drastic measures~"

Mustering all of her courage she swallowed all the saliva that was lingering in her mouth before standing up from the ground. Dusting off her clothes she released a shaky breath and tried answering her new servant.

She knew what the mark on her hand meant, she knew what exactly the boy was and how he just appeared in the room. It was obvious for her what happened and yet she couldn't grasp why it happened.

"You are right, I'm your Master from now on, even if I don't... understand how that's possible."

Her last words were whispers that didn't go unnoticed by the new boy, he raised a brow at her words before shrugging and bowing in the presence of the girl. With wide smile on his face he placed on arm behind his back while other was holding his stomach.

"Archer Class Spirit Kuro Tokisaki at your disposal. It's pleasure to be working with you from now on my Mistress~"

Straightening up he held his hands behind his back while looking around the room in curiosity, his eyes wondered around all the smoking electronics and panicked scientists. Sparks flew in the air from the now useless machines that were fried in the few seconds of the summoning.

"That's bad! Too much power got placed in the ritual! Battery is fried to crisps and all the cables melted! We won't be able to fix it before the summoning ceremony for all the candidates!"

Hearing the words from one of the people Olga widened her eyes, pushing aside the thoughts of her new servant she took away the tablet from one of the members before taking a look at it.

"Call everybody that can help with this! We have everything beside this set up so we need to repair it as quickly as we can! If it doesn't work thirty minutes before ceremony than call me and I will push it for another hour if I have to! This needs to be done today!"

While she was shouting orders her servant only steeped next to the smoking machines, his eyes wondered around the blinking screens and sparking cables, his gaze was filled with amusement at the sight of panicked staff members rushing back and fourth.

"May I propose a better idea for you my mistress~?"

With grin that only Cheshire cat could rival he moved next to the girl, his eyes gleaming with emotions that brought chills to the other staff members. Olga glared at her servant with anger while narrowing her brows.

"And what would be that idea?"

"Just simply say you want it fixed and I shall make it happen~"

Olga was visibly skeptical about his statement, even the strongest servants have no power to do 'anything'. No matter from what time, what age or race they are the basic limitations will be put on them.
