𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 𝕛𝕠𝕟𝕖𝕤 had a very bad habit of pushing people away. she hadn't always been a hardass. she didn't always hate people for the mere way they walked. I suppose that's what crime-fighting does to a person. you're forced to find the worst in people, and she never bothered to see the good. not after the things she had been through-- the things she had seen and experienced. she had seen the absolute worst in humanity and refused to see it any other way. to her, there was no other way to see it. people fucking sucked, end of story.

𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕜 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕘𝕒𝕟 was a natural flirt, but he was easily one of the most respectful men to ever roam the earth. he tried his best to always see the good in people. after what he had seen and been through, you'd expect it to have torn him apart. but it didn't. it just made him want to make the world a better, safer place. his job at the behavioral analysis unit gave him the power to do that, and he enjoyed every second of it.
