EAT. SLEEP. RAVE. REPEAT.

Levi took a deep breath, his first of the night and rolled his shoulders, shutting his eyes so he could feel the music, the crowd, the wild atmosphere around him and finally start to let go. Sometimes he felt like his life was just so heavy, that going through it like a normal person would slowly crush him to death. It left him seeking out places with no limits or rules.

Places like Omni, where they were off the grid, anonymous among thousands of revelers and yet united in their single minded intensity to live in the moment and wholeheartedly fuck yesterday and tomorrow.

His first time at Omni had been a revelation. He had listened to trance before when he was painting, but to be so surrounded by the music and the energy was the closest he had ever gotten to a religious experience. Completely absorbed in the moment, he had started fucking around on the wall with a sharpy, even gathering a bit of a crowd before security showed up. Instead of being tossed out into the street like he expected he was shown to a room behind the mainstage where a thin guy in an orange suit introduced himself as one of Omni's promoters.

One thing led to another and Levi found himself commissioned to mural the entire ground floor of the club. Instead of being fined for vandalism and banned from the place he was given lifetime VIP access, materials, and a tidy sum for the weeks of work he would have probably done for free. It was the first time he had worked with a client to bring a mutual vision to life. The owners wanted a rave scene, but using different paint types and mediums and combining them with the lights to make them move had been his idea. The result was mesmerizing.

The only thing Levi had insisted on was that they didn't publicize his name. The Reaper was gaining popularity downtown at the time and he was concerned people would put two and two together. In the end, people did put two and two together and the fact that the Reaper had "done" Omni made it even more popular. It was a win-win situation for everyone. Omni's owners got a winning business venture and their city became a beacon for popular House, Trance, and EDM DJs.

He felt his tension ease as the music crested, replaced by the need to move his body. He had always enjoyed his time at the club in a solo kind of way, getting high and dancing with his friends, but tonight was different. Tonight he had Eren and like the afternoon on the catwalk, he was filled with the urge to open doors and show the other boy bits and pieces of his world.

It could be their world, if they let it.

Eren had experienced the same phenomenon from the beginning of his roller coaster like acquaintanceship with Levi-no matter what was going on around them, it all faded away when he focused on this strange, beautiful boy. He never imagined the same thing could happen in a place with so many external stimuli, but if he had actually put any energy into that assumption, it would have been wrong.

The lights resumed their strobing, but they were mostly bathed in darkness and Eren could see the full impact of Levi's style choices. His piercing jewelry was phosphorescent and framed his face in a soft glow. He also had luminescent patches on his pants and bright stitching on his gloves. But even all of that wasn't why Eren couldn't avert his gaze.

There were various dance styles at play around them. The professionals hired by the club had one style, which was polished and yet generic enough to keep the crowd amped. Most of the other guests had another style...if throwing and thrashing your body around could be considered a style. Then there were the ravers; hardcore scene dancers who seemed to move with superhuman speed and coordination, each gathering a small circle around them to both show off their skills and make sure they didn't knock anyone over in their frenzy.
