I was sitting on the stairs in her house thinking about it. It was Saturday and she wanted to go to Deja Vu tonight.I have no interest in going but hell my bitch been going through it these past weeks between her and Sean trifling ass.
"Ion got nobody to watch the kids" I stressed to her and she knows I'm real selective on who my children are around. I don't play that game over here. I looked at her and she needed this and I needed a break so I'd make something work.

I shook my head thinking " nah Kairi with her momma and he has different event appearances this weekend so he's busy....... I'll ask Candace hold up"
I got up from my seat going into the kitchen to call her to see if she was available on such short notice
" hey CC!" I spoke as soon as she answered the phone
"I was just about to call you. Imani and Elijah wanted to go to the ice rink this weekend wondering if the kids wanted to join them could make a whole sleepover and give you and Dave a much needed break"
I smiled into the phone " Girl you literally took the words right out my mouth. I'll drop them off tonight with their overnight bags and then we all can go skating tomorrow in the morning ?"
"Sounds great I'll see y'all soon!" We hung up with each other as I seen J running upstairs probably already to find an outfit for tonight. "I'll be back later J!"

I locked her door behind me and went towards my car driving off to Dave's house. I dropped the kids off at his house this morning cause they wanted to watch movies in his theater room like always
Pulling up I parked in the front instead of the garage cause it should be a quick in and out. Getting out the car I walked up towards the door putting in the code unlocking the door making my way in.
"Anybody home!?" I yelled making myself known to them. I walked towards the kitchen grabbing a water bottle from the fridge then sitting on the counter just in my thoughts until I heard someone coming upstairs as I was taking another sip of my water
" wassgood baby?" I stared up in Dave's eyes as he parted my legs standing in between them.
Shrugging my shoulder " none. Jenny wants to go out tonight and I told her yea. I need to drop the kids off at Candace place in a few"
"You know they can stay here rii? I mean.. I can watch them." I looked at him registering what he was saying to me.
It's not that I don't trust him alone with my kids. It's the fact we really in this forreal. Like I got me a grown ass man who handles his own and keeps his word.

The fact that my kids grown so attached to Dave is big wild to me. These little mfs hate new people like that .
We've been official for what a couple months now and this how I'm feeling? Basically fully trusting him with my children.

I slid off the counter embracing them in a hug " hey y'all... what was y'all watching?"
I swear they stay watching something when they come over here " dang y'all just gon push me like that?" Dave asked them

Then there go the rudest youngest one Amaya " you mean fat?"
"Now Maya..." I couldn't hold back my laugh it bursted out which made my kids start to uncontrollably laugh to as Dave stood there pretending to be mad.
"It's funny baby huh? Cause you in tears at this point" all of a sudden I was lifted up off the ground and over his shoulder
" Dave put me downn" his tall having ass this only made my kids laugh more at us both.

It happened quick and I don't know if I should be afraid on how quick this relationship took off. But I have no complaints.
I think it's a much needed time for a family trip when the kids are done with preschool this year. I want to take them somewhere we haven't been which is many places
We didn't experience travel like that because of Dwayne never wanted to be out seen with us like our little family was an embarrassment for him.
The bullshit I put up with cause I thought I wasn't good enough for him. That I was lucky that someone like him could love me

I was sitting back on the counter with Dave standing there just watching an listening
"Yea Dave said if we hurry he'll get us nuggets from Wendy's" Mir said rubbing his stomach
That boy can eat and don't gain not a pound. " you coming with us ?" He nodded going to put his own shoes on
This man own half of a company and more and just be casually here with us just chilling. I've organized his calendar this man has a whole meeting in two minutes bout to ride with us
" come on y'all let's ride" he said going towards the garage door to get in one of his cars. The kids ran behind him as I slid off the counter. He think he slick like ion see what he doing
We taking his car... which means leaving mine so I have to either call him to pick me up after the club or come collect my car either way Imma wind up in his spot tonight and I'm going to get me much needed dick later. I grabbed my bag, keys and phone and went towards the door
