Link's Journey Through Hyrule.

Breaking Free

Link rushes over to the Temple of time just wanting to get out of the the Great Plateau. Link reaches the temple and begins to look for the old man. The temple is worn down with a goddess statue inside. He notices a ladder on the side of the temple and begins to climb it. He spots the old man in the area where it seems a bell should be.  Link goes over to the old man just wanting to escape. As link arrived the old man began to speak, " link thank you for coming. There is a lot you need to know now that you memory is no longer fragile." Link stared at him confused but yet curious at the same time. The old man continues, " 100 years ago a calamity was destined to rise once again. The sheika tribe had found all of these ancient relics and chose to use them against the calamity. They had discovered four divine beasts that would be crucial to sealing the calamity away. The princess of hyrule went out and found four people too pilot the divine beasts into battle. They were known as the champions. The divine beasts where not enough alone. There was a fifth champion. The carrier of the sword that seals the darkness. With the divine beasts and the sword that seals the darkness we where ready for calamity to ride and for the princess to seal it away once again. But calamity ganon had a plan that we had not prepared for. He took over the four divine beasts and created chaos all around hyrule. The knight with the sword that seals the darkness protected the princess through every minute of it. That knight was you link." Link stares at him in shock. He could not believe what he had heard. He had no memory of it all. " i was the king of hyrule before it fell to calamity ganon. And the princess was my daughter. I have no right to ask of you this, but will you please save my daughter." the old man said. Link just starred as the old man who now appeared to link as the old ruler of hyrule faded away. Link paraglides down from atop the Temple of time onto the ground of the plateau.  He is filled with excitement now being able to escape. He checks he sheika slate and he has a new quest. He has to go see Impa at Kakriko village. He selects the quest on the Sheika slate and a yellow dot appears on his map.  Now that he knows where he has to go link paraglides down from the plateau and is finally free. He sees some horses close by and decides to tame and ride one so his trip would go a bit faster. He sneaks up on this black horse with a long white main and jumps on. The horse kicks and bucks but link stays on. when the horse is finally done trying to get link off link had barely any stamina left. He caught his breath than began making his way to kakriko village. The horse would refuse hear and there but it was too much of a problem for link. As he traveled to kakriko he sees two huge mountains that look like they were once one. Right besides them he sees a large tower with and orange glow in the center. It look identical to the one he saw on the plateau.  He debates climbing the tower and unlocking part of  the map. He decided not to and that he will get it later. Link crossed through the two peaks and is greeted with a stable. He rides his horse up to the man at the desk and the man begins to explains how that if link gets a horse he can register it at a stable and keep the horse without it running away. Link registered his black horse and named it  Knight. Link left the stable and continued on his way to kakriko village.
