Link's Journey Through Hyrule.

The Great Plateau Part 2

Link starts walking towards this grassy field with some birch trees. He spots an axe and picks it up and take it with him along his journey. He spots a wooden cabin in the distance and walks towards it. He heads inside and find the old mans diary. Link reads it and decides to go find the ingredients to make the dish he talked about in his diary. He goes into the forest across the plateau from the cabin to get some raw meat. Then he goes to the entrance of where the colder area of the plateau starts to get the spicy peppers. He finds some hylian shrooms on his way to go get a fish. After he had all the ingredients to make it he cooked it and went and talked to the old man. the old man gave him his warm doublet in return for the dish he made.. Link then and continued looking for the other three shrines. As he was walking through the grassy field once again he spotted a shrine on top of a cliff near the field.  Link walked towards the cliff a realized he cant accesses it because a ravine is separating link and the cliff.  Link then gets an idea in his head. He takes that axe he took earlier an cuts down a tree making a makeshift bridge. Link slowly and carefully begins to cross his bridge.  He makes it over safely to the other side.  When link was just about to start climbing the wall three bocoblins appear and begin to attack him. Link equips his travelers sword and begins to fight back. He fought all three of them at once and barely escaped alive. He had half a heart left so he ate some of the left over hylian shrooms he had to restore his hearts. Link now begins to climb the cliff slowly and carefully making sure not to slip. There are little areas on the side of the cliff where Link can rest and regain stamina to continue climbing. He climbs to the top of the cliff and sees another shrine. He walks up to it put the sheika slate in the slot once again. The doors open and link enters the shrine. He sees once again another pedestal and put the sheika slate in the slot. The blue liquid drips once again on the sheika slate. His sheika slate showed that it had gained the rune stasis. He uses this rune to complete the shrine and get the reward just like the previous one. After he was done he stared looked at the sheika slate's map and notices he can teleport to shrines he has activated including towers. Link teleported to the tower and hops down to the bottom. He spots another shrine in the distance. He runs towards  the shrine just wanting to get out of the plateau. He bolts into these run down stone walls and stumbles across a guardian. It doesn't seem like a regular old run down guardian something felt off. while link walked by it it stared moving and aiming at link. Link was startled so he began running away hoping to get to safety. The guardian shot at link the moment he got to safety. Link sat there behind a wall heart beating and sweating intensely.  After a few minutes he calmed down and headed towards the shrine, but carefully this time. He makes it to the shrine safely and does the same thing he did to the other two shrines. After he was done He decided to explore the colder area of the plateau . Link teleported Up to the shrine on the cliff and started headed towards the snowy area of the plateau. As he steps onto the snow covered ground and it becomes freezing. Link remembers the warm doublet he was given so he puts that on and continues on his way. His feet crunch into the snow as he walks further into the freezing area. After a little bit of walking link spots The last shrine he needs to get the paraglider. He jogs towards it, being more careful than the last shrine. He runs into a few enemies while heading up this spiral like hill. They where not very powerful so link kills them with ease. He makes it to the top of the spiral and he sees the fourth and final shrine. He does the regular drill when he comes across a shrine and when he existed the shrine the old man appeared. The old man said, " now that you have acquired all four spirit orbs meet me where all four shrines cross on your map.". The old man then leaves link alone near the shrine. Link then teleports to the closest shrine to the wooden cabin he had found earlier. He walks over to the cabin and sits down. Link looks at the map on his sheika slate and begins attempting to figure out where he needs to be to meet the old man. after a while of just starring at his map he finally figures it out. The four shrines cross and make an X over the Temple of time in the middle of the plateau.
