Mary-Kate's P.O.V.-
It was currently lunch and I sat down next to Emily at our usual table in the middle of the cafeteria. This was where all the football players sat and being the twin sister to the quarterback and good friends with a wide receiver we had free passes to be here. You either had to be invited to join the table, or know someone personally to be able to sit amongst them. As I was placing my tray down, I was telling Em about the current Harry Potter book I was reading.
"...I just think it's messed up that Dumbeldore brought Harry to Hogwarts, literally setting up his death like that is so messed up. I get he did it, knowing Voldemort had to be killed at the right time, but come on, he was literally a child being set up to die." I had managed to tell her in one breath and when I looked back up to make eye contact with her, she was looking at me like I had grown another head. Sometimes I forget she isn't into books like I am, and listens to me simply because of the fact that I'm her best friend. One of the many reasons why I love her. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and turned around to be face to face with Katherine West.
Meet Katherine West, head of Student Body, and one of the nicest girls you will ever meet. Standing at 5 feet and 5 inches she has wavy black hair that reaches to the middle of her back, and the most piercing sea blue eyes you have ever seen. She dresses to cover up, not that I'm judging her, because I very much love the soft girl look she has going for her, but you can just tell she's a girl who's sporting a beautiful physique underneath. She keeps to herself most days and I've only ever seen her socialize during Student Body meetings. Although we don't hang out often and barley speak, I consider her a friend, and someone she can come to, if ever in an emergency.
"What's up Kat?" I had laced my voice with confusion, because I have never seen her on this side of the cafeteria. Like I said, she's a very shy girl, and would never willingly bring herself over here unless it was very important. She brought her hands together and spoke in such a soft voice, I almost wouldn't have been able to hear her, if not for the fact she was standing so close to me. "I-I was wo-wondering if you could stay after school to he-help with upcoming se-senior activities?" The poor girl was scared out of her mind, being so close to 6 foot, muscled beasts. Who wouldn't be, if you didn't get to know them like Em and I had? They were big ol' softies, well most of them were, and I considered them to be my older brothers, they were that protective of me.
I tried to reassure her by telling her they wouldn't bite but I don't think that eased her mind all too much. So to help her get out of this situation as fast as possible, I had replied with, "Sure I'll stay after today, I don't have much planned anyways." She smiled gratefully, mouthed a thank you and scurried away from the table as fast as possible. "Who was that?" I looked to my right and saw Tyler looking at Katherine's retreating back behind me. "That's Katherine West, yes she's single, and no, she's not available for you. I refuse to let you ruin her, she's a very sweet girl, who doesn't need her heart broken by you." Ty looked at me wide-eyed, surprised I had already asked his unasked questions, I knew my twin brother that well. "Well shit, MK I had just asked who she was, how'd you know I was gonna ask more questions?" I rolled my eyes at him, 18 years of life with him, and he still thinks I don't know him?
"I know you better than you know yourself brother, just call it the twin telepathy if you want."

I was sitting in Economics when the classroom door opened and slammed against the wall behind it. Every single head turned to see who had caused the noise, and low and behold it was Gray Ryder. It was already bad enough he had tried to speak to me this morning, and got a bit too close for comfort, but now he was trying to bother me in class too? He didn't even have this class from what I could tell from yesterday so why was he here?
