Erma - New Neighbor

Eddie's state.

Jannie: It has passed a week already, hasn't he showed a sign he's going to wake up?

Sam: No, actually, he hasn't showed any sign at all, only that his body is still showing the signs that he's alive....

Ever since that stab in the head, Eddie hadn't no sign of waking up, the only thing that COULD show that he's okay is that he isn't rotting.

Jannie: Where is your wife and daughter?

Sam: Emiko is by Erma's side, she didn't stopped coming by to check him, even after school the kids come here to check how he is.

Jannie: There isn't no other person?

Sam: Yes, actually...

They looked to the side and saw a bunch of people sitted on the chairs.

Sam: Everyone there is coming here to check how he is.

Jannie: Wait! but aren't they everyone from the neighborhood?!

Sam: Yes, he is a very dear person by everyone, they were just trying to retribute what he had done.

She looked at everyone, there had old people, children, adults and even some teenagers.

Student: What happened to Mr.Eddie man?

Student2: He's been hurted on the head and is now on a coma, we just don't know what happened for him to be hurted like that.

The old couple were talking

Granny: Dear, how's Eddie boy doing?

Gramps: He's on bed, we just have to let him resting, do you remember that time i was sick honey?

Granny: Of course, i'm just worried...

They were hugging each other.

Kid: How's Mr.Eddie mom?

Mother: He's just sick dear, nothing problematic.

The mother was trying to assure the child that Eddie wasn't heavily injured.

Dillon: Man, how's the guy doing? he was kinda....cool i guess?

Alan: Yeah, he was nice to us, he even tried to give us cookies!

Elliot: What if they were poisoned?

Dillon&Alan: Shut up Elliot!

Everyone there was talking about how Eddie was, if he was okay, if he was gravely hurted or if he was awake.

Jannie: ....

Sam: Do you want to see him?

Jannie: .....It's....better if i see how he is...

They walked to the room, the scene was, Eddie on the bed, the machine not even turned since he doesn't have a pulse, Erma was on the side of the bed watching him while resting on her arms, Emiko was by her side patting her back.

Emiko: It's okay Erma, he's going to be okay....

She wasn't even showing a reaction, only seeing how Eddie was.

Emiko: ....

Emiko doesn't know what to do now, the kids were outside of the room waiting to enter inside the room, they weren't even doing something to distract themselves, the room was silent, no one doing nothing, only Emiko's voice could be heard.

Sam: How is she honey?

Emiko: Not good, she's still very worried, nothing that i said has calmed her....
