Cristina x Derek

Chapter 1

It was a rainy dreary night in Seattle. Meredith and Derek we're in bed when they heard a heavy fast knock—It was Cristina. When Meredith opens the door, Cristina immediately starts to rant about how she needed a place to stay after Owen broke her heart . Derek was already fast asleep when Cristina and Meredith crawled into the bed with him. Meredith fell fast asleep —— but Cristina was wide awake. She was admiring Dereks perfect chestnut hair, and his luscious oval lips the entire night. It seemed as if Derek felt the same uncontrollable feeling for her, but she knew it was probably all in her head. As she stares the entire night it felt like time was going extremely slow but she didn't mind. Derek woke up at 5 to do rounds, but Christina was already up. "Good morning" Cristina said perky with butterflies filled in her stomach to Derek the second he opened his eyes . " Cristina! how'd you sleep" Derek said very confused . "Ok" Cristina says with no emotion lying straight to his face, she knew she couldn't tell him the night was actually amazing . At that point Meredith awoke. "Cmon guys, we're going to miss rounds" she says while jumping out of bed. The entire car ride was quite and a bit awkward. Once they arrived at Grey Slone, Meredith headed to the west wing and Cristina and Derek headed to the East. The entire time Cristina couldn't stop fantasizing about them being together and being in love . Suddenly Derek got paged for a consult and they sadly departed. 6 hours later they found themselves both in an on-call room trying to get some rest, when Christina suddenly says "where mer" .Derek slowly says "she has a hernia repair, there was some complications so she'll be in there for a while". Cristina sighs heavily, staring at the selling. She wanted it to seem as if she was sad Mer wasn't available but in reality it was a sigh of relief.

Authors note: hey guys I hope you liked this first chapter but at this point Derek hasn't come to his feelings about Cristina yet so that's why he's not talking that much, it's more about what Cristina thinks.
