Chapter 12: Secrets

Flashback, 11 years before the banishing of the villains.

White Queen's P.O.V

Y/n and I were going to have a tea party in my palace again today. I haven't seen her in almost a week and it was breaking my heart, I know she misses me. I can feel her sadness. Y/n and I have a strong emotional connection, she is my daughter after all.

My sister, The Red Queen or The Queen Of Hearts, stole her from me after I gave birth. I was devastated to find out my little lily was taken from me and I went on a rampage to find her. My sister had disappeared for years before I was actually able to see Y/n again.

It broke my heart when I saw her again. She had grown so much over the years and I wasn't able to see any of it. I wasn't able to teach her how to walk or talk or sit properly. I wasn't a good mother, I just let my daughter be taken and I couldn't do anything about it.

Her father was a deadbeat, excuse my improper language but the man had run off after getting me pregnant and I hadn't seen him in years. He is no longer spoken of in Wonderland for what he has done to me and my little lily.

I close my eyes and inhale deeply to calm my rising rage, 'remember, stress brings anger and angers brings wrinkles and we don't want wrinkles' I exhale slowly and open my eyes to see two big e/c eyes staring up at me, "Hey aunt white!" I smile at the young girl in front of me and lean down to her eye level, giving her a small boop on the nose and a kiss on the forehead.

The young girl giggles and grabs my hand, trying to pull me in the direction of the gardens. "Ok ok my little lily we'll go to the gardens but you must slow down, if you don't you could hurt yourself" H/n smiles at me sheepishly and I shake my head at her childish antics.

You can't stop her excitement it's bound to happen when she's at such a young age. The small girl giggles as the garden comes into view, she quickly releases my hand and runs over to the big tree that lays in the middle of the garden. The tree has beautiful white flowers that grow on it, almost making it seem like the tree itself is white as flower petals dance a path to the cobblestone pathways of the garden.

"Aunt white?" I turn around to see Y/n sitting in front of the small pond, I walk up behind the girl and sir by her side. "Yes little one?" Y/n looks up at me with big sad eyes, "Do you love me?" The air around us falls silent as I look at the girl shocked. What would cause her to thi I that I don't live her? "Mama says that I shouldn't trust you and that everything I've heard from you is just lies.., I don't believe her"

I softly place my hand on her cheek as a lone tear falls down her soft skin, I gently wipe the tear away and pull her body close to mine, "Y/n, I don't want you to ever, ever doubt my love for you, you'll never meet anyone that will love you as much as I do"

I feel Y/n release a heavy sigh as a tear falls down my face. Being away from you for so long has hurt my heart, I don't think I can live any longer without you knowing the truth.

End of flashback

"Y/n, there's something important I need to tell you" I pull away from the hug and Y/n looks up at me with confused bright blue eyes, "Y/n, I'm you're re–-" "Y/n!!"

I'm interrupted by a girl with dark blue hair running up to Y/n and I. Y/n takes a step back and I immediately get defensive, nobody is taking my daughter away from me. Not when I just got her back.

Your P.O.V

I look on in shook as a exasperated Evie runs up to me in my aunt's castle.

Once Evie finally makes it to my aunt and I she tries to reach out and touch me only for me to step back from her, "Why are you here Evelyn." Said girl in question flinches at the use of her full name, I was the one responsible for giving her the nickname 'evie'

"I–- We've been looking for you all day, you have to come back to the school" I cross my arms and raise a brow at the girl, who does she think she is to boss me around?!

"Says who Mis Perfect? Last time I checked I'm the one that was knocked unconscious and kidnapped, now I'm being threatned in my own families home. Shame on you Evelyn, you're making Auradon seem like such a bad place" Evie balls her fists up in irritation.

"Y/n how bout you make this easier for the both of us and just come back to the school with me peacefully, I di t want to fight you again" I stifle a small laugh and look at the girl in mock sympathy, "Poor naïve Evelyn, you're on my territory right now, if I wanted you would be dead right now but that's a waste of my time and it's not the right moment"

I uncross my arm and begin to walk past the girl, "Why don't you go back to being Mal's little bitch, it's the only thing in life you can do right and you follow that role quite well don't ya?" I chuckled slightly at the small gasps I got from both my aunt and Evie.

I'm tired of living my life for people that just disappoint me, from today on it's my life and my rules. If you don't like that then you can ever so kindly fuck off, I don't answer to anybody but myself.

I sigh and begin walking in the direction of my mother's old palace. It had been years since I'd been, I'm only hoping what I'm looking for is still there.

Sorry for such the long wait (totally not like a year) I plan to finish this book by June or July since I've already started others as well as think it of a possible sequel to this book. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter <3
