She needs him (non smut. song pref)

I was walking to muggle studies wondering what in gods name we were doing today. I saw loads of muggle instruments like a piano, a guitar, tambourine and others. I noticed a microphone know I would be using that. I live to sing and I am also pretty good at the piano. And i always loved muggle music. Once everyone was in the class, the professor started talking.

"Today you will study these instruments and I will choose 2 people to perform at the end class. Since this is a double period we have lots of time."

I knew immediately that I wanted to preform the song "She needs him" by her's. It's a great song and pretty easy to sing. I noticed Draco in the corner struggling to strum the guitar. I had a pretty big crush on him but I mean who wouldn't. He looked so cute trying to figure it out. I continued practicing until professor said it was time to pick two people.

'please don't be me please don't be me' I said to myself.

"We will have Hannah and... How about
y/n." Of course.

"Hannah you go first."

She song "Ribs" by Lorde. She played the guitar while doing so. She wasn't bad I must admit. When she was done we all clapped.

"Alright y/n cmon up."

I walked up to the piano and made sure the microphone was working.

"Um i'll be singing She needs him from a muggle band I like so yeah." I was so nervous but I started playing the piano and sung the first line.

Mudblood y/l/n started playing the piano. Yeah she was gorgeous and kind- Ugh Draco snap out of it!

She ran her dainty fingers along the keys and sang in her angelic voice. It's was beautiful. Just like her. Oh my merlin i need to snap out of it.

She finished with the last pluck on one of the keys. The room bursted into claps and everyone screaming. She was amazing. She really did look and sound like an angel. I've observed her from a far since 1st year, but I always thought she was just a dirty mudblood.

Y/n POV

"Amazing y/n! Class dismissed."

I stood from the piano while people hugged me and patted my back telling me how well. While I was packing my stuff I felt someone tap my shoulder.

"What's up Draco?" I asked that blonde.

"Well a few things actually. One I think you did amazing up there. You have a gorgeous voice for a gorgeous girl." He made me blush. He pushed a piece of stray hair behind my ear. "And I was wondering if you wanted to meet me at the astronomy tower at 10 tonight? Like as a date." He asked.

Draco Malfoy wanted to go on a date with me?! Omg!!!

"Um yeah sure! Ill be there." I said and kissed his cheek before I walked away.
