Out of the ring part 4

NICOLE

I lay across Roman and my bed, even though lately, it's just been feeling like my bed. It's hard to be pregnant and be fighting with your husband over honestly nothing. There good be worse things in life.

I flip through the channel, forgetting that wrestling is on tonight. I keep it on, missing at least half the show. When I put it on, there is a match between Alexa and Naomi that ends shortly as I try to get comfortable.

After the commercial, Roman's music hit. I try to watch it without becoming irritable, but it's hard not to. He gets in the ring without saying anything, and as his music ends, Sasha's music follows. It's all too much to handle; I turn the tv off immediately and throw a pillow at the wall. I just want to scream because there is nothing I can do about this situation.

I lay there for a few moments before receiving a call from a phone number I don't know.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Nicole! How are you?" I know that voice.

"Fine, considering the reality of what's going on."

"Oh, yeah. Sasha and Roman?"

"Yes, it ridiculous. It's like management knows. I even tried to have Roman talk to them about changing it. But being completely honest, I don't think he did."

"Well, listen, Nicole. I don't know, but I hurt myself earlier tonight. Nothing serious, so I hope. But I fly out to Florida tonight so that I get evaluated tomorrow. How about after my evaluation, I stop by, and we can hang out. How does that sound?"

"Amazing, text me the detail."

"I will. But, Nicole, I will text later. My flight board soon. But if you need anything, please reach out."

"Will do, Randy. Good night."
