We had just gotten back from the latest expedition. Things went awful we discovered another Titan shifter just like Eren. We even lost Levi squad, this is what has me worried most Levi had been with his squad a long time even tho he doesn't show it I know he truly cared for them. Me and Levi have been dating for 3 years we never said we're dating out right but it was obvious.

We arrive back at HQ I noticed Levi injured his leg during the expedition. I got an injury as well I managed to get a cut on my leg from a sharp tree branch. I didn't say anything about it the infirmary is already over run as it is so I'll just deal with it later I'm more worried about Levi.

I head towards our room opening the office door slowly poking my head in not seeing Levi. I notice that the door that connects his office to the bedroom is cracked open slightly. I make my way close closing the office door behind me. Before I can touch the door to open it I hear a sniff. I push the door fully open to see Levi sitting in the middle of the bed his knees to his chest crying softly. "Levi?" I say sitting next to him. "Y/n? Is that you?" He says looking up at me his eyes wet, red and puffy "yes, Levi it's me" I say quietly opening my arms. He crashes into my embrace knocking me back onto the mattress his arms around my neck his face in my chest crying softly. I wrap one arm around his waist while the other plays with his hair. "Shhhh it's ok Levi, it's ok" I whispered.

We stay like that for the next 10 minutes till he lets go and stands up "sorry about that" he sniffs "it ok I'm always here for you" I say standing in front of his, I notice how dirty we are "why don't we have a shower?" I suggest knowing levi hates not being clean and he wouldn't want to be alone right now. He just gives a single nod look at the ground. Looking at him breaks my heart he looks so exhausted, around others he would never let anyone know how he's feeling but with me he freely shows his emotions the good and the bad.

I step behind him and close the bedroom door and lock it. I stand in front of him again and take off his jacket, I place a hand gently on his cheek rubbing it lightly, I place a gentle kiss on his lips, I start taking off his gear straps dropping them to the ground, after it's all off I carefully take off his cravat and place it on the bed gently knowing how important it is to him, I take off his shirt and trouser leaving him in his boxers. He barely moves the whole time only lifting his feet slightly for me to take his pants off. It hurts to see him like this there only so much a person can fight.

I pull him to his private bathroom, him still looking at the ground closing the door behind us. I take off my own jacket, gear and shirt. I step one leg out my pants and gently removing the other careful of my cut. I toss my clothes into the laundry basket and go to turn the shower on when I feel a hand grab my wrist.

"Levi? You ok?" I look back at him his eyes still in the ground his bangs covering them "Levi?" "What happened?" He says "what do you mean?" I reply at bit confused "your leg. What happened!" He says raising his voice startling a little he never shouts at me "oh um just got caught on a tree branch, nothing to worry about" I reassure tho he doesn't look convinced. He steps closer and drops to the ground looking at my leg "you got hurt. Why didn't you say? Why didn't you get help?!" He says looking into my eyes his full of concern and sadness. "It's not bad it's just a scratch and the infirmary is overloaded as is with serious injury's" I say thinking this would be obvious. Levi then hugs my leg. "You got hurt it's important" he says "Levi" I crouch down to meet his eyes him letting go I place my fingers on his chin lifting it to meet my eyes "I'm okay alright now let's get cleaned up" I pull him to his feet.

I take off my bra and panties leaving me bare and turn the shower on, I turn back Levi and gently grab the waste band of his boxers and gently pull them down, him kicking them off. I grab his hand pull him under the water. I takes a step back to look at his sad form. His head is to the floor the water pouring over his body his eyes red and puffy. I could tell he had no more energy right now. I grab the soap and wash his body, his arms, legs, back, chest and his hair. After I've done him I quickly wash myself.

I place the soap back down when I feel two strong arms wrap around my waist I feel his chest press against my back, his forehead on my shoulder "I love you so much, I can't live without you" he whispers loud enough for me to hear "I love you to Levi and you won't have to live without me" he hugs me tighter. I gently pull myself from his embrace and turn off the water. I step out the shower Levi following behind me I grab a towel a wrap it around me, i grab another and wrap it around Levi's waist. I place a third towel on his head and dry his hair. I dry my hair and head into the bedroom, Levi following slowly.

I grab a shirt and joggers that Levi uses for sleeping and put them on him I grab a spare shirt and shorts for myself and slide them on. I lay down on the bed under the cover Levi doing the same. He cuddle up to me his face in my chest his arms around my waist. I wrap on one arm around his chest the other gently playing with his hair. "I'm sorry for being so much trouble" Levi says with a frown "don't apologise, you weren't any trouble you only have so much strength Levi, let me be that little bit extra when you don't have any left, my handsome devil" "i love that title" I giggle "I know you do" i kiss the top of his head "let's get some sleep" "night babe" "night Levi". In a matter of minutes we fall into a deep sleep.

There's only so much a person can fight, but they can be helped in this fight by the people they love.
