Author's note:
There is Intimacy in this chapter. It may be too sexual for younger readers.
The remainder of the night ended up being better, Carlos had to admit that he was having fun, and they finally got some much needed relaxation.
Carlos walked Raven back to her cabin. She opened the door and he followed behind her.
Raven put down her bag and stretched her arms out, relaxing her fatigued muscles. Her dress top rode up her midriff, revealing teasing skin. Carlos couldn't avoid staring.
"What's up, Isle boy?" She asked, feeling his eyes lingering on her.
"I don't want to leave you all day tomorrow." Pouted Carlos.
"You have to go. Those Isle kids need their applications and they need to see you. It'll give them hope that they can come to Auradon." Raven reminded him.
"I know, and don't get me wrong, I'm super stoked that we get to help them." Carlos agreed. "I'm just going to miss you, and I don't want you to be alone."
"I could still go with you..." Raven suggested, sweetly.
Carlos sighed, "We've been over and over this, Love. It's not safe for you."
"...And, once again, I'm not helpless." Argued Raven.
"Hartley will take every opportunity to tear us apart, and your magic doesn't work there." He countered.
"Oh, please! I could destroy that crazy b..." Started Raven, before Carlos cut her off.
"No. I won't let you risk it." Carlos said, with resolve. "Please. Just once, listen to me. Please, Blackbird?"
Carlos was now giving her the puppy eyes.
"You know that's not fair, using your big brown eyes against me." She scolded, with a smirk.
"Did it work?" He asked, hopefully.
"For now." She retorted, not quite giving up.
Impulsively, Carlos scooped her up bridal style, causing her to squeak. He carried her sweepingly through the room, laughing at the surprised Pixie.
"Carlos!" She laughed. "It's true, you are definitely not normal." She commented on his earlier statement.
"I guess, you taught me well." He countered, cheekily.
"Fair enough." She conceded.
"I love you so much." He expressed to her, kissing her softly.
"I love you more-- than even that much." She returned, teasingly.
Carlos smiled at her, lovingly. When he looked at her, his eyes still couldn't believe how painfully beautiful she was. His gaze now taking in her shiny hair, porcelain skin, and mystically dark eyes. His hands on her waist, as always, creating bold thoughts in his head. His eyes wandered down her smooth neck to her decolletage. It was almost cruel how the curves of her body taunted him.
He gently placed Raven back onto her feet and looked down at her. His eyes now appeared a bit more intense, as he wet his lips and swallowed a nervous gulp.
"There's something...that I've been thinking about for a while." He murmured to her, in a timid voice. "Can I try something? I mean, um...with you?"
Raven's cheeks flushed, her eyes widening just a fraction.
"It's-it's okay, you know? If you don't..." Carlos nervously back-peddled, reading the surprise on her face.
Too far. Why did I say that? I'm so stupid! He scolded himself, internally.
