Y/n sighed as he finally made it to Magnolia. He used his magic to replenish some energy, so he could make it to Gajeel's house.
"Man why'd he have to call me when I was all the way in Crocus? He knows I hate trains..." He muttered.
He passed by a bar, of course gaining attention from the many women in line.
Levy and Lucy, who just so happened to be in the club, had waltzed out, Lucy hoisting up Levy, who had a red face.
"And that bastard, h-had the *hic* nerve to rant to this *hic* mystery person ab-bout me! I-I b-be *hic* bet he's gonna think o-of me as- *hic* s-some terrible girlfr-friend!" Levy exclaimed drunkenly.
"Yeah I know Levy, let's hurry and get you home..." Lucy muttered.
Y/n paid no mind to it, as he wasn't exactly focused on drunk women. He was wondering how in the hell was he gonna make it to Gajeel's house without passing out?
He sighed, growling to himself as he was about to call a cab, regretfully about to spend his money.
He got in the cab, and paid the driver before arriving at his destination, and tried his best not to fall asleep the entire ride.
After he got out of the cab, he stumbled to the door, his luggage weighing him down. His last mission was tiring, and draining, and he couldn't wait to finally lay on a bed or SOMETHING and get some shut eye.
He knocked on the door, quite loudly, making sure to wake up Gajeel, because he was 10000% sure he was asleep at this hour, and he didn't have to worry about his girlfriend, because he couldn't scent another person in the house.
A few minutes later, Gajeel angrily opened the door, and was about to chew out whoever it was, banging on the door at 4 o'clock in the morning, but his scowl was replaced with resolve and happiness once he realized who it was.
"Y/n! You came earlier than I expected!" Gajeel said.
"Yes, me walk here, please let sleep. Mur..." Y/n slurred, his brain melting at the moment as his power depleted further, causing his exhaustion to further increase.
"Oh yeah, you did mention you didn't wanna ride a train, alright get your ass in here, I'll take your bags, Levy!" Gajeel said.
It was quiet for a moment.
"Levy!" Gajeel called again.
Y/n wobbled from side to side, still not being let in the house, as Gajeel was in the way.
"Let in." He said with a bit of aggression but also exhaustion in his voice, making him sound strained.
"Oh right, sorry..." Gajeel said as he moved aside and Y/n wobbled into the room.
Y/n saw the stairs and internally groaned.
"Don't worry, I'll carry your stuff for you, since apparently my LOVING GIRLFRIEND is ignoring me. C'mon, follow me." Gajeel told him.
Y/n followed reluctantly, his eyes halfway closed, as he dragged his body up the stairs.
Gajeel had told him the guest room was the door to the right of the stairs, and the only room that was at the end of the hallway, so he followed those directions and opened the door, a sigh of relief came from him as he saw the plush bed, the white comforter, and the plush-looking pillows. He could care less about the rest of the room, he could wait until he slept to care, and he allowed his body to fall limp onto the bed, and he was knocked out in less that a second.
Gajeel placed his bags in the room, near the bed and walked out of the room, chuckling to himself as he saw his brother sprawled out on the bed.
He soon got back to his room, shock on his face as he didn't see Levy there. He scoffed and grabbed his phone to call her.
"Levy! Where the hell are you?" He asked as she answered.
"U-uhm this isn't Levy, it's Lucy." Lucy said from the other side.
"Is th-that bastard yelling a-at you? G-give me...the p-phone." Levy muttered.
"I'm with Levy right now, I'm about to return her, we're like a few minutes away, down the street actually." Lucy said.
"Well hurry up." Gajeel said.
Lucy responded with a quick 'Okay' and hung up. Gajeel then leaned back in bed and grabbed a bottle of beer from the bottom of the bed, and chugged it down, staring intensely at the stack of mail that contained bills on top of bills, on the tabletop.
He groaned to himself as the words of Levy rang through his head.
'You need a job!'
'We need to go out on more missions! The bills are getting higher by the second!'
'Gajeel please stop drinking...'
He finished the rest of the beer and threw the bottle at the wall, effectively breaking it.
He blacked out, the alcohol having more effect than he wished it to, and as he was in his comatose state, a drunk and wild Levy came through the front door.
"Gajeel! Y-you dr- *hic* drunk ba-bastard! W-where a-*hic* you!" Levy shouted.
She looked around, noticing that it was quiet, and dark, maybe he was asleep.
If that was the case then she'll just sleep in the guest room, she wouldn't want him to know that she'd been drinking, besides, this mystery person probably isn't even here yet, and she can tidy up the guest room as soon as she wakes up.
So that's what she did. Levy wobbled up the stairs, and went to the end of the hallway, where the door to the guest room was. It was dark as hell, but she knew where the bed was, so she carefully treaded onto the bed, and then Levy grabbed the comforter and slid into bed, sliding off her dress and heels.
Levy soon fell asleep, unaware of the person sleeping beside her, possibly dead asleep, and she didn't realize that she was cuddling with that person when she awoke.
