Once upon a time, the moon of Augern's Cage would become populated by it's frightened citizens, in a desperate attempt to escape the chaos. At first, the tiny moon held little and offered less. Little clean water, and no real way to obtain food without digging for hours killed off the sickly and those who didn't wish to work for their prosperity. Over time, the people of the moon built machines that greatly enhanced the livability of the moon, which was named Machina. Time passes, and the people would build massive cities of metal, forges under the ground which produced new alloys, and wells as big as towns which yeilded water from the aquifers located deep under the dry soil. The people of Machina prospered under the policy that hard work and a sharp mind will endure any challenges, and one day that mettle was put to the test when the planet ran out of rescources. A few years went by as the people tried to survive with what little they had, but one man had an idea. If they could rip a hole in Augern's Cage and steal rescources from there, they would have more then enough to keep living. Despite the enormous risks, the people backed the idea. They sent teams of their most skilled mechanists and fighters onto the cage, and with time, they began bringing back massive metal deposits and new crops which would grow on their soil, dry and barren as it may be. Now, the people of Machina are a race that acts as a trade hub between multiple star systems, making money off of their exports and the taxes that came with trading on one of the most secure go-betweens in the galaxy. Machina's people are proud and strong, and will often never back down from any problem they face. There's always another way to do something is a phrase they often use, and the one thing they apreciate most in the galaxy is the ammount of people who share their way of thinking.

The End.
