A Nice Talk:Chapter 10

(3rd POV)
[A day after last chapter]

Hermione and Fred were in the kitchen talking when Harry and Ginny walked in.

"You know, it feels nice not to be the only couple in the house." Harry said to Ginny.

"I know, they can't yell at just us anymore." Ginny said to Harry. Ginny and Harry were both trying to annoy Fred and Hermione. 

"Can you guys go somewhere else." Fred said as he rolled his eyes and pointed at the door.

"I think I speak for both me and Harry when I say we are fine here. Thank you for the offer though." Ginny said and Harry nodded.

"Come on Fred, we will go somewhere else." Hermione said as she grabbed Fred's arm and pulled him toward the sitting room. Ginny and Harry bursted out laughing.

Hermione and Fred sat down on the couch. Hermione was hugging Fred.

"Mione it's okay." Fred said as he kissed her head and was rubbing her back.

"Fred, I just don't know. What if I do have to end up erasing my parents memories? I mean they will just forget about me completely." Hermione said as a tear rolled down her cheek. Fred used his thumb to wipe her tear away.

"Mione, if you do have to erase their memory of you. You will at least know they will be safe." Fred said trying to comfort Hermione.

Recently there was another attack on a muggle-borns family and they were killed. Since Hermione heard the news she has been considering erasing her parents memory of her and making them start over their life without having to worry about being killed.

"I know, you are right Fred. Let's not worry about this for right now. I want to enjoy the rest of break!" Hermione said as she stood up. Fred smiled at her and also stood up.

"What should we do?" Fred asked looking down at Hermione. The snow was still high enough that no natural light could come through the window, also with the blanket fort still up it was dark inside.

"How about we take a day for just ourselves, we will sit by the fireplace, we will have tea, and we will hang out." Fred said smiling. 

"I would like that." Hermione said smiling.

"I will go make some tea." Fred said.

"I will get us some pillows." Hermione said and they went to get what they needed. Hermione also decided to change into her pajamas. Fred didn't change earlier so he was still in his pajamas. Hermione went downstairs and put the blankets and pillows on the ground and started the fireplace. Fred eventually walked in with tea and sat down next to Hermione. 

Fred was telling Hermione about all the amazing pranks him and George pulled when they were younger Hermione was laughing and Fred smiled at her.

"What?" Hermione asked when she saw Fred smiling at her.

"Nothing." Fred said and he turned his head away.

"No, tell me!" Hermione said. At this point she was really curious and she sat there and looked at Fred.

"Fine fine, I will tell you. I was looking at how beautiful you were and your laugh was so cute I couldn't help but smile." Fred said and his cheeks went bright red. Hermione's cheeks also went bright red. Hermione felt as if her heart skipped a beat when she heard what Fred said.

Hermione leaned up and gave Fred a small kiss on the cheek and they both smiled big.

"Okay, now tell me. Have you ever pulled a prank?" Fred asked.

"Of course I have. Who hasn't? Everyone pranks people on April 1st." Hermione said laughing.

"What's so special about April 1st?" Fred asked with a face full of confusion.

"Well in the muggle world on April 1st everyone tries to prank each other. It's kind of like a prank day." Hermione said.

"That sounds like an amazing day!" Fred said excitedly. "Wait, but why does it exist?" Fred asked.

"I don't know, I guess people just started to prank each other on April 1st and since then everyone started to join in on it." Hermione said.

"Wicked!" Fred said.

Hermione started to tell Fred things about he muggle world. Somethings he didn't find amusing at all but other things we wanted to try so bad.

"You mean to tell me there is a thing called 'Theme Parks' and it's full of fun rides and games and people go there to have fun!" Fred says as he opens his eyes wide.

"Yup!" Hermione replied.

"You have to take me sometime!" Fred said almost jumping up and down.

"Okay, but Ill have to teach you how to act more like a muggle." Hermione said.

"How hard can it be to act like a muggle?" Fred said. He was acting over confident. Hermione looked at him and just shook her head.

"Just you wait, it is much harder then it seems." Hermione said as she shook her head.

"I doubt that." Fred said crossing his arms.

"Okay, but when I say 'I told you so' you can't get up tight about it." Hermione said smiling.

"I wont." Fred said.

"Also, we would have to buy you some muggle clothes so you don't stand out." Hermione said and Fred just nodded.

Hermione told Fred a little bit of how muggle's act and things that they do.

"They use paper money and not coins?" Fred asked shocked.

"They use both paper and coins for money!" Hermione said shaking her head at Fred.

"How much paper money would it be for some sweets?" Fred asked.

"Depends, and the paper money is called bills." Hermione said. "Also it depends on what types of sweets you get." Hermione said. Fred sat there shocked.
