Izuku Midoriya

I really didn't want to wake up. I just wanted to stay asleep. But recently I've been getting nightmares...sleep used to be how I would escape this place, but now it's everywhere. I'll have dreams of me being a villain, killing people, or even just getting endlessly tortured in this room. Even if I get out of here I'll never truly escape it....

I opened my eyes to find blurry light coming from the window. My body felt numb, I barley felt any pain but I was still covered in dry blood and cuts. I looked at my body and was horrified. It didn't even look like my body...my arms were destroyed, my legs and torso looked like a wall a cat just scratched the heck out of...I wonder what my face looked like.

I know the hero's are working on a plan to find me, I just know. But it's been over a week now...what's taking them so long? It only took a few days to find Kacchan. I really wish they'd hurry up, I don't how much more of this I can take. I can barely move my body...I feel so weak. Maybe I could take another nap after all...

"Hey, wake up kid" I heard someone say.

"...huh?" I could barely make out any words.

"It's me, Mr. Compress," He came over to me and kneeled down, putting his hand on my shoulder.

"nngh!" It hurt when he touched me.

"Oh, my apologies. I've come down here to talk with you Midoriya," He sat in front of me with his legs crossed.

"I don't want to participate in any torture, I find it quite horrible. Don't worry though, I don't think they'll mess with you anymore. Besides when you become a villain again, we have another Nomu with a quirk that basically numbs all the pain in your body when you're being affected by another quirk, it ends whenever the other quirk ends. You'll still feel some pain though of course. Remember how you felt when the quirk wore off the other day?"

"...yea-" my voice is raspy, and quiet.

"That's what happened! It's it marvelous? That was my idea of course, no one could pull of such an amazing plan!" He opened his arms up wide like he was performing. "Anyway, how do you feel about being a villain Midoriya?"

"I'm...not a villain,"

"Well then how do you feel when you are one, do you still fell like Izuku Midoriya? Or do you feel like Deku, the villain version of course," I felt myself getting a little angry.

"I...don't know I....feel like myself but at the same time...I don't," Why am I telling him this?Why should I? Is he just curious?

"Hmm, I see. Do you feel like that's how your life has always been, and that you're you, you know, you're not Izuku Midoriya?" He had his hand in his chin and leaned in closer.

"....Yeah basically," I almost didn't finish the last word, my voice sort of cut out.

"Ahhh, okay. That's pretty interesting, don't you think?" She said this in a happy tone.

"I....guess,"

"Also, I don't know what you said to Toga but recently she's been very happy, and doesn't feel like torturing you anymore which is strange cause she'll do that even to people she likes. May I ask what you told her?" I remembered the conversation I had with Toga right before she gave me a thousands cuts. I didn't say I was her friend, but she thought I did.

"I said...I didn't hate her....and I think she thought....that meant I was...her friend," My throat hurts from all this talking.

"Ooh well that explains it! Haha, she's loved you since the day she laid eyes on you! That really made her happy you know,"

"Oh...well that's good....I guess,"

"You know, if you cooperate and listen to us, we won't have to use the quirk on you. You'll be able to work with us out of your own free will, but you'd have to obey everything we say and do—"

"I'll...never be...a villain,"

"Oh well, it was worth a shot you know? I was telling them torturing you wasn't the smartest move but I think they were just bored," He made a slight chuckle after his sentence. I couldn't tell if I felt comfortable or uncomfortable. "Anyway, here—" He took out a marble, and placed it in front of me.

"Food!" He said as he snapped his fingers, revealing a plate with a sandwich, vegetables, and a class of water.

"thank you...Mr. Compress," For some reason I felt slightly better after talking to him. I thought they were all lunatic monsters, but I guess I forget they are humans with human feelings too.

"No problem Midoriya!" He stood up and took a bow. "Anyway, tonight we're using you as a villain again. After that I don't know really, the hero's might find us soon but based off how we are hidden, I doubt they will unless..." I noticed he started to walk towards the stairs.

"Wait...aren't you.....suppose to lower....one of the chains?" I asked.

"Oh! My apologies, you're right!" He walked over to the crank, and lowered my right arm. "Enjoy your meal!" He waved and walked up the stairs.

He's strangely friendly for being a villain. Maybe he's just the brains behind everything? I wonder if he's hurt or killed people too...I wonder what happened to his left arm.

My mouth started to drool at the sight of the food, and I started shoving my face with the turkey and cheese sandwich. I'm surprised they would actually make a sandwich for me, I could tell cause it was pretty sloppy. I ate it in minutes, and then ate the pieces of lettuce and celery. Then I chugged down the water. I ate my whole meal in under 5 minutes. What could I say? I was starving.

A few hours had passed and no one else came down. My right arm was still lowered, and it was such a reliving feeling to not have it constantly hanging in the air. I wonder if I could escape...

Who am I kidding,

In my condition I don't think I could even walk out of here, let alone break out. I might just have to wait for the hero's to come. Mr. Compress was saying they'll never find this base, but I noticed him mumble, 'unless...' so I think there's a chance the hero's can find me!

I felt myself feel a little happy. The converstaion I had with Mr. Compress made me feel a little more safe, I don't care if he was lying or not, cause in the moment it made me feel less like a lifeless body, and more like a human. And I have hope the hero's will come, I know they will.

Oh crap I forgot,

He said they were gonna use me as a villain again tonight didn't they? Awwwe I really don't wanna do this again....

maybe I'll just take another nap....
