Angel in the sky (Ch. 9)

Angel pov

"Hey kid , hows it been?"

I stared in shock as I saw him in the doorway , his red wings shined in the light , his eyes shined as they looked at me. "Keigo..." I said my voice quiet , I covered my mouth as tears threatened to fall from my eyes. "Look kid.. I know you probably dont want to see me and I know its pretty weird of me to show up unannounced b-but..." I heard him say and he paused and I looked down as tears fell "Look kid I think its time I talked to you about our family" he said and I looked up at him and I sniffled "C-can I hug you Keigo?" I asked and he looked at me shocked for a second before his expression changed to a soft one "Of course.." I smiled and I wrapped my arms around him and I made sure my hands didnt touch his wings.

I pulled away and I smiled "Here , come in and sit down" he nodded and he walked in and he took off his shoes and I shut the door and I brought him in. I sat him down and I stood near him and I motioned for Mirio to come over "Keigo , this is my boyfriend Mirio" I said and he smiled and held his hand out "Nice to meet you" I smiled and I sat down. "So Keigo why did you finally decide to find me? How did you find me Keigo?" he looked over at me and then he looked down "I...I thought you where still living with your dad and I knew he was pretty much exactly like my dad except maybe a bit worse. I was going to take you away from him and I was going to make sure you had a good life away from that bastard.... but once I looked at your record I found out you got away , well you were forced away by your boyfriends" I stoped and I tilted my head "W-what?" I asked and Keigo turned to me "What?... your boyfriends told your school about your father and they did an investigation around him and they put him away" I turned to Mirio as horns grew out of my head "You did what Mirio?" I said and he backed up "Look Angel , I did it for your own good your father was awful , he hurt you in so many ways and I wanted to give you a better life" I stood up as my wings turned into my devil ones "Mirio.." I said and I sighed and I looked at him "Im sorry for getting mad Mirio its just... suprising , i never knew that you where the one that turned my dad in" I said and I held my head "Angel?" he asked and I began swaying "M-mirio?" I asked as I felt myself fall over.

Mirio pov

I watched as they began swaying before I looked at them shocked "Shit , Angel!" I said stepping forward catching them as they fell back. "Whoa why did they pass out?" Hawks asked and I sighed holding them "Its a lot of pain controlling their quirk and its really exhausting , they should wake up in an hour so Im going to put them to bed. I turned around and I walked up the stairs and I tucked them into bed and I sighed and placed a kiss to their forehead and I walked out of the room and I shut the door. I walked back downstairs and I sat across from him "Look you dont have to tell me anything but... I want to know more about Y/n's family , they never tell me anything about it , they say it would make me more upset at their father" Hawks looked at me and then he sighed and looked down "I-I dont know I just got to see Y/n again and I dont want to betray their trust" I put my hands together and I looked at him in the eyes "Please I want to know how to help them , their flashbacks are getting worse and I want to knows what triggers them and how I can help them" Hawks brushed his hair back and he nodded "Fine I guess Ill tell you".

~After hours of talking I had finally heard enough of Y/n's past and I hung my head low~

"I had no Idea any of that happend to them" Hawks nodded "Yep , their dad confessed everything he did to them" I sighed and I sat up "Im going to go check on Y/n Im sure they are awake by now but they are just laying in bed" I stood up and I stretched my legs and I went upstairs and I knocked on the door "Angel you awake?" I asked but got no response , I opend the door and I saw them still passed out and I walked over and I shooked them "Angel wake up" I said but they didnt move "Angel.." I said and I brushed my hair back "Angel!" I yelled but nothing happend "Shit , shit shit!" I said and I backed up and I went downstairs "they arent waking up.." I said to hawks and he looked at me shocked "But its been 4 hours!" he said and I clenched my fists "I know that!" . I grabbed my phone and I scrolled through the contacts and I sighed "How am I going to tell Tamaki.." I said and I began shaking "I just told him I found them and now they arent waking up!" I said as tears filled my eyes , I went back upstairs and Hawks followed me and I sat on the floor next to my Angel but I noticed they weren't breathing and I stopped and I grabbed their wrist but I couldn't feel a heartbeat , I put my head on their chest but I got nothing. "ANGEL!!" I said and I shook them but nothing happend and Hawks came over and he put his fingers on her neck "Why arent they breathing? where they breathing when you came upstairs to check on them the first time" I began panicking "It looked like they where" Hawks moved me out of the way and he tried listening for a heartbeat "Call an ambulance.." he said and I looked at him with tears in my eyes and I quickly dialed for one.

The flashing lights of the ambulance blinding anyone who looked at them.

The loud blairing of the siren causing their neighbors to come outside and investigate.

Only to see Y/n on a stretcher with a tube down their throat as the paramedics tried to help them breathe.

The sound of footsteps getting louder and louder as Amajiki got closer to Mirios house.

All of thoes where nothing compared to the pain Mirio and Amajiki felt as they watched their partner losing their life as they where being taken away by an ambulance.
