We went back to my apartment and my parents were gonna stay in my room and Aidan and I would stay on my couch since it was pretty big.
I unlocked the door and opened it
My parents hadn't seen my apartment before. I had a team of people move in for me since my parents couldn't come out.
"This is exactly how i pictured it." My mom said
"It looks amazing y/n" my dad said
"Right! After the people moved all my stuff in I went crazy and decorated everything!" I said while spinning around
Right as you walk in my apartment you see the kitchen which had sage green cabinets and a white counter top. The floor was hard wood. It had book shelf's which had plants and pictures of family and friends. There were posters on my wall everywhere and tapestries. The wall straight ahead was full of windows giving a good view of New York. I had a ginormous couch for no reason since no one really stayed over. I had a big flat screen tv. And to the left was my room which had a queen size bed and one wall was also filled with windows. I had mirrors and plants everywhere and had similar decor to everywhere else. And connected to my room was a simple bathroom.
(I never said how your apartment looked so I figured I would now! I hope you could imagine how it looks since I couldn't really find any pictures of how I wanted it to look.)
After giving my parents a tour then unpacked their things in my room.
"Are you guys ready" I asked
We had planned for all 4 of us to go out to dinner.
"Yes" they both said
I wore a simple pair of blue baggy jeans and an oversized graphic tee and had a mini backpack.

We walked into the restaurant.
It wasn't too fancy but i had been here before and the food was amazing

We finished our dinner and i decided to show my parents my favorite spots
It felt so nice to be with them again and they seemed to like Aidan a lot.
Thankfully paparazzi wasn't here but a few fans asked for pictures.
I had cleared my schedule for the next 2 weeks so I wouldn't miss anytime with my parents.
There was nice scenery that I noticed caught my moms eye
"It's beautiful" she said
"Do you want to take a picture of us" i asked
"Yes! That sounds perfect sweetie" my mom said
I was happy she said yes since I didn't have many pictures with her
We took some normal than some funny ones.
I got some with my dad too.
"Do you want to take one too" i said asking Aidan
"I don't kn-" he tried saying but was cut off by my mom dragging us over
He put his arm around me and we both smiled. I felt a little brave so I kissed his cheek "for the pictures". I felt butterflies swarm my stomach.
"Okay! I got them" my mom said
We walked back over to my parents and I felt someone grab my hand. I looked and not to my surprise it was Aidan. I gave him a quick smile and so did he and we continued walking around.
New York in the summer isn't really eventful but you'll find a few nice places here and there.

We got back to my apartment and watched a few movies.
My parents and Aidan got along so well and it made me happy that they liked him. I just wish the relationship wasn't fake sometimes...
The movie finished and we were looking for something else to watch.
My parents were looking on Netflix when they came across the umbrella academy.
"This is the show you're ok right Aidan" my mom asked
"Yes" Aidan said nodding.
"I've never watched it before" my mom said
"What! We have to watch it. Trust me you'll love it" he said
"Okay! We can watch as many episodes as we can tonight then!" My mom said exciting
starting the show.

(Aidan POV)
I had so much fun getting to meet y/n parents. This all felt like a real relationship. Her parents were great and so welcoming.
I checked my phone and scrolled on Instagram.
I saw y/n had posted the pictures of her parents and she also posted the ones of us.
This made me so happy.
Her caption said "spent the day with my favorite people"
She was the sweetest and kindest girl o ever posted.
I looked over and she was laying down resting her head on a pillow watching the show.
I nudged her and she sat up and scooted close to me.
"Yeah?" She whispered.
"You posted the pictures of us" i said while smiling
She nodded her head proudly
"You need to post them too" she whispered
"Will do" I said while grabbing my phone
She scooted even closer and rested her head on my shoulder to get a better view of my phone.
I tried to ignore it but she was just so adorable I felt my cheeks heat up and felt butterflies in my stomach. I ignored it and went to post the pictures
"What do i caption it" i whispered
"Make it like, my girlfriend is the cutest person ever" she joked
I knew she was messing around but I put it anyways
"I was just playing Aidan" she said giggling
"I think it's cute" i said and posted it
She was the cutest person ever..
