I felt my heart start to beat fast. I was nervous. What was I supposed to do?

Even after he told me he didn't love me like that earlier..?
"But you said you didn't love me like that earlier?" I asked confused
"I know I know, I was too scared. I really do love you y/n" he said
I went with my heart and kissed him.
It was a passionate kiss that we had both been wanting to do for a long time.
All though we had kissed before this one was different now we actually know how each other felt.
We pulled away slowly.
Since I'm too awkward to make eye contact I looked away and smiled
He wrapped his arm around me and held me close.
"This feels good" he said

We went home back to my parents
Before I left I asked them to do one thing for me..
We walked in and the lights were off.
"Turn the light on" i said softly
He turned the lights on and both of our parents yelled surprise.
I saw his face begin to light up as he quickly walked over to his parents.
I was so excited for him all day knowing he missed his parents.
I had called and asked them if they could come surprise him and they agreed.
"Did you do this y/n" he said with a huge smile
I gave a big nod and he walked over and gave me a huge hug.
"Oh also mom and dad me and y/n are.. actual dating now!" He said with his arm wrapped around me
"That's amazing! You guys make an adorable couple" his mom said
His dad agreed and I could see the excitement on my parents faces too.
We had a fun night together.
His parents were going to be staying at a hotel so he decided to stay with them while they were here so he could spend more time.
Everything felt right now.
It felt good to have a real love and not a forced one.
