Rose Weasley was sitting in her room, that she shared with Ginny.
"I'm so bored, I could almost write to Malfoy!" Rose said, groaning to her baby sister, who was an year younger and was going to start Hogwarts this year.
"Then why don't you?" Ginny said, "From everything you've told me about him, it's obvious you like him."
"I do not! He is Draco Malfoy! My eternal enemy! No matter how cute he is, he will remain an enemy! Even with those amazing grey eyes, and adorable blonde hair." Rose said, with a dreamy sigh.
"Ooooh. Rosie has a crush!" Ginny said, smiling.
"I didn't mean it like that! I meant sure he's cute and all, but I will never like him." Rose swore.
"Rosie, Hasn't Harry Potter replied to your letters?" Ginny asked, blushing.
"No! Weird, isn't it? He hasn't forgotten us, has he?" Rose said, hesitantly.
"Maybe he could come home, sometime?" Ginny asked.
"I have invited him, plenty of times. He hasn't written back even once, unlike Hermione, who writes to me often." Rose said, just as an owl flew in, dropping a letter.
Dear Rose,
I hope you and you're family are alright. I was wondering if we could meet up at Diagonal Alley? I'm quite worried about Harry. He hasn't replied to me once, I don't think he has to you, either. Maybe his Aunt and Uncle are preventing him from writing back, or something?
We probably need to get in touch with him soon. Your father works in the ministry...maybe ask him of some way to communicate with Harry?
I miss you guys a lot! See you at Diagon Alley!
Love, Hermione.
"Clever Hermione!" Rose shrieked and ran out of the door.
"What!? Come back!" Ginny shouted.
Rose ran to Fred and George.
Fred started "Hello, little sis-
"What can we do for you?" George finished.
"Harry hasn't written to me once! And Hermione thinks we should try to get in touch with him." Rose says.
"We have the-
"Perfect thing."
"Explain." Rose said.
"Listen, Dad's Ford Anglia has this button which makes the car fly-
"We can use that to fly to Surrey and rescue Harry!"
"Brilliant! When do we leave! Do we tell mum?" Rose asked, frowning.
"Of course not, Rosie-posie! We leave tonight!" George said.
"Okay!" Rose said, and left the room.
In the dead of the night, the three left for Surrey. It was ridiculously easy actually.
They were checking through houses, when Rose saw a black haired boy, sleeping next to a snowy owl.
Jackpot!
She rattled the windows in an attempt to get Harry up.
"Stop it," Harry muttered as the rattling pounded in his sore head. "Leave me alone . . . cut it out . . . I'm trying to sleep. . . ."
He opened his eyes. Moonlight was shining through the bars on the window. And someone was goggling through the bars at him: a freckle- faced, red-haired- Rose Weasley.
