He was beautiful. He always had been, even when he was a mere eleven-year-old and I sat across from him on the Hogwarts Express, sneaking peeks at him over my book. His piercing grey eyes and his devilish smirk were enticing, and his elegant black hair was enough to make any girl swoon.

"Stare at him for any longer and he might melt," remarked Remus, watching me from my bed with a smirk on his face.

I whipped around, my cheeks flushing red. "Bug off, Remus!" I grumbled, and he turned back to his book, grinning. I flopped down on my bed beside him, staring up at the ceiling which was littered with constellations. I loved the stars, the moon, and everything that was in the night sky.  I stared at a particular star, which I knew by heart. The dog star, and Sirius's namesake.

"Ya know, Willow, you've got it real bad," Remus laid down beside me, following my gaze to Sirius's star.

"I know, Remus..." I sighed, staring into the green eyes of my best friend. "I might just die of heartache..."

Suddenly, a tall handsome boy strutted into my room. "Willow Tree!" he crowed, lifting me up into a hug. "How's my favorite Potter twin?"

I melted into his warm embrace, closing my eyes. Sirius Black smelled so, so good.

"I told you not to call me that!" I said, smirking at him.

He grinned down at me, towering over my height, and staring at me with his beautiful eyes. We just stood there for a moment until my annoying, slightly older brother walked in.

"Hey I fout I thwas your thavorite thwin!" James cried, leaning on my doorway, chocolate stuffed in his mouth.

I glared at James over Sirius's shoulder and he winked at me. James was oblivious to my giant crush, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to take any opportunity to keep his friends away from me.

Sirius took my hand, sending shivers down my spine and making my eyes widen. God, I have it bad. "Let's go play a round of Exploding Snaps," he said, turning to Remus. "You in, Moony?"

He gave me a sly smile. "Nah, me and James have to finish our Potions essay..."

I glared at him, knowing exactly what he was doing.

"Homework during summer break?!" Sirius gasped, looking between the two of them in disgust. "I guess it's just you and me then, Wills!"

James sputtered, looking between Remus & Sirius.

"Come on then, Prongs," Remus pulled James away and their voice drifted off as Sirius tackled me down the stairs.

"Sirius!" I shrieked, my hair whipping in my eyes and my arms tangled with his.

He laughed, his voice rich, deep and so enticing. We landed side by side, huffing, and beaming at each other. His breathing was so distracting, and I found myself wondering what would happen if I kissed his gorgeous lips...

"Oi, Wills!" Sirius had already gotten up and was bending over me, his soft hair tickling my cheeks. I blushed fiercely, ignoring his outstretched hand.

"Let's go then," I scoff, pushing his hand out of the way and dusting my skirt off. He rolled his eyes, linking his arm with mine as we skipped happily into the sitting room.

"Sirius, Willow, would you like some tea?" My mother was busy in the kitchen, fixing dinner for the four of us.

Sure, Mum," I said, walking into the kitchen as Sirius started setting up our game. She handed me two cups of steaming tea, beaming at me.

"I'm so glad you get along so well with James's friends!" she gave me a small smile before pushing me towards Sirius.

"They're my friends too, Mum!" I blush as Sirius looks up, his grey eyes catching mine.

"Course we are!" he said, slinging his arm over my shoulder. "The best of friends." He pulled me in closer and I once again inhale his scent, rain, and cologne filling my nose. His nose brushed my ear and he whispered quietly.

"I smell good, don't I?"

"Remus smells better," I whisper, watching his eyes widen in shock.

I blushed a furious red before scooting away, watching my mother raise her eyebrows suspiciously. When she finally left, I turned back to Sirius, who was narrowing his eyes at me.

"So.." He stared at me, an emotion flickering in his eyes that I couldn't decipher. "You and Moony, huh?"

I met his gaze, furrowing my eyebrows in amusement. "Hardly," I grab my cards, sifting through my hand. "He's my best friend, you know that."

"If you say so.." He mumbled averting his gaze to our game.

I frowned slightly, knowing that deep inside Sirius would rather be playing with the Marauders instead.
