Joel woke up on a wintry Sunday morning. Last night, he came home from a concert he performed at. He opens his eyes, but instantly closes them again when he feels a painful cramp in his lower abdomen.
'It is probably from something I ate a few days ago.' He thought to himself as he headed to the kitchen.
As he walked into the kitchen, he was greeted by Moriah; who kissed him on the cheek and his brother, Luke, who patted him on the back. "G'morning, mate."
"Morning." Joel said quietly. He clutched his stomach when another cramp hit him. Luke gently guides his brother to the living room while Moriah grabs a heating pad. She hands it to Luke.
Luke gently replaces Joel's hands with the pad. He then firmly puts pressure on it. "Luke!"
"Shhh. Shhh." Luke cooes.

Later that night, Luke is on the phone with the doctor, while Joel is whimpering in pain.
'Lord. Please make this horrible pain go away.' Joel thought as he heads to the bathroom and tries to do his business.
But, he is having trouble.
