Summary:

Honestly speaking, Jungkook had thought he’d reached his peak, that Jimin couldn’t possibly be any more obsessed with him. It seems he’s been proven wrong, but now it has him wondering, where is the peak, if any at all? Where is the metaphorical finish line? Maybe Jimin’s obsession will only grow, feeding on their codependency until he’s no longer Jeon Jungkook and Jimin’s boyfriend, but just Jimin’s boyfriend.

He likes the thought more than is healthy.

Jungkook is usually up and about before Jimin is.

He has an 8 am class, and while it’s a struggle to get out of bed that early, he likes the class a lot. Jimin’s earliest class doesn’t start until 10 am because he’s much smarter and, as a senior international business major, generally has more flexibility with his schedule.

Jungkook sits in their kitchen, looking over his presentation notes for his marine biochemistry class as he sips on his tea. He’s already cut up fruit for Jimin and made sure there’s hot water and creamer set out for his coffee. Jimin doesn’t like it when Jungkook takes initiative and sets things up for him, preferring to be the primary caretaker in their relationship, but Jungkook’s pout can work wonders so he isn’t too worried.

He’s got about twenty minutes left before he has to leave for class, so he places his cup in the sink and makes his way back to the bedroom. Jimin is still fast asleep, his arms wrapped tightly around Jungkook’s pillow. He doesn’t have classes today, usually doesn’t have anything to do on Tuesdays unless his father calls him in for a business meeting at the multi-trillion won company Jimin will be taking over when he graduates. He smiles as he climbs back into bed, sitting on his knees next to his boyfriend and leaning down to press a kiss to his hair, gently shaking him in an attempt to wake him. Jimin hates it when Jungkook leaves without saying goodbye, something he made very clear the first time Jungkook did it. He didn’t talk to him for two days. It’s a little petty, but Jungkook likes it, likes how Jimin gets where he’s concerned.

“Hyung, I have to leave for class,” he presses another kiss to Jimin’s cheek, hands tugging at his hair.

Jimin stirs, cracking one eye open to peer up at Jungkook. He smiles sleepily, reaching up to press a kiss to his lips, pulling him closer with a hand on the nape of his neck.

“Heading out, baby?” He murmurs against Jungkook’s lips, tongue darting to lick over the seam of them.

Jungkook lets him in, melting into the familiarity of the action. He pulls away despite Jimin’s frown to answer him, “Yeah, my class is starting soon.”

Jimin hums, sitting up and pulling Jungkook onto his lap, hands running appreciatively over the thighs that straddle him. He reaches under his shirt to place his hands on Jungkook’s waist, holding him tight as they kiss. Jungkook tangles his fingers in Jimin’s hair, letting his boyfriend kiss him as deeply as he wants. One of Jimin’s hands leaves his waist to settle on his ass, squeezing appreciatively. Jungkook moans, the sound greedily swallowed by Jimin. He pulls away, a thin string of saliva connecting their lips. Jimin chases his lips, pulling him closer, holding him in place.
