We are in an age where being toxic is a trend. It's acceptable, and even worse, it's admired.
What's interesting is I've only really seen majority of toxic pop culture swirling around the lives of young Black American adults. Why are we so enthralled by unhealthy habits, lifestyles, and relationships? Why do we think if it isn't toxic, it isn't real?
The answer is deeply rooted in the tough, fertile brown soil called the Black family.
