Sanayah's POV.

day one - same old, same old

~

I stare at window in my bedroom, drenched in raindrops. I watch as the raindrops form different shapes and then my eyes drift off the image displayed outside of the window. The night is foggy, rain pouring, and I couldn't get enough of it. I felt at peace.

Most people don't like that type of scenery - but I love it. I don't really know how to describe it, the feeling is just immaculate. My parents and my friends call me crazy whenever they hear me say how much I love it.

I grab my coffee that's sitting on the table a couple feet away from me and finish the last of it. As the last drop goes down my throat, I find myself craving more. I've always been obsessed with coffee and I'm not ashamed of it.

I contemplate for a few minutes whether I should get up and make myself another coffee. One more couldn't hurt.

I make my way down the long stairs of my house. Every other step makes a small creaking noise and I try my hardest to walk softer, but unfortunately, that doesn't work out for me.

        "Babe?"

The sudden voice startles me and I jump in place. I turn around immediately and see my half asleep boyfriend stretching his arms out. I let out a breath and take a strand of hair behind my right ear. "Jayden, you scared the shit out of me!" I chuckle. " Don't ever do that to me again." I awkwardly shift from one leg to another.

He brings his arms back to his sides and cracks a small smile. "I'm sorry, baby, I didn't mean to startle you." He takes his phone out of his pocket and looks at it. "Jesus, it's 12:00 AM, Sanayah, what are you doing up?" He asks me, while running a hand through his curly, brown hair. Looking at his hair reminds me of how I was running my hands through them and gripping them, just a couple hours ago, while I was beneath him in bed.

I know what you're thinking - that I had some mind blowing sex.

        Well you're wrong.

Mentally slapping myself, I snap out of my thoughts and look back up at him. "O-Oh uh, sorry," I begin, shyly, " I was just getting more coffee."

"More coffee? Damn, babe, you're really addicted to that shit, huh?"

I let out a fake laugh, trying my best to make it sound real as possible. "I'm sorry that I woke you up, babe. Go back to bed! Otherwise my mom and dad are going to wake up from the lights." I tell him. "Goodnight." I blow him a kiss. Damn, Sanayah, since when did you become so cheesy?

I hear a chuckle come from him. "Alright baby, goodnight. Don't drink too much of that shit though." He turns around, turns off the hallway light, and I hear his footsteps receding into the darkness of the hallway.

I roll my eyes. "That 'shit' gave me more pleasure than you did in bed." I murmur to myself, making sure I wasn't too loud.

Some may call me 'harsh' for saying that, but it's just the truth. I'm a virgin, or wait, I was a virgin, until a couple hours ago. Let's just say it wasn't the most...enjoyable moment. I was disappointed to say the least. I always heard such good things about losing your virginity. "Oh it'll feel so good!"

        Bullshit.

The main reason why I'm upset is because I was actually really scared to lose it, and I told Jayden that, and he promised it wouldn't be too bad. Well, he's kind of a liar because, while we were in bed, he paid no regard to me at all.
